Aion Free to play on EU?

So i've read that aion is going free to play on the 11th of april.....however some sources say that is only for NA not for EU....to what extent is that true??? is there any major difference between EU and NA versions?

Atm is Aion f2p for Eu.
US Aion will be truly free and EU Aion has some restrictions for players and a Cash Shop.
But US Aion receives only a cash shop, and no restrictions.

oh **** why do eu get some restrictions?? and are they truly handicapping?

gameforge is the new owner of aionEU since ~march. its free to play but in order to play aion at its full extend, you have to buy "gold-status".

aionNA will be truly free on april11. In comparison to aionEU, there wont be any restrictions.

so if you are a fresh aion player, i might suggest you to start on the NA-servers.

well that sounds like a good idea...i hope their's no IP restrictions tho
