Sick community? Well, you can't be objective here.
Sick GM's? Dude?! If you have a Problem you ask someone and you get an answer in a few seconds. Ridiculos.
Sick GA's? Well, see above.
Sick owner? I played minecraft with Mighty for many... really many hours. He's a funny guy an he CAN live with critics, i can't say that about the other owners of private Server.

So all in all, yes it is win for the player.
Oh and inb4 someone says i'm just a guy that wants to bootlick the owner, i actually stopped playing AR in general. After a few years, i got bored of the game. Not of a server (well actually i got bored of an official server many years before).
What i can say to other players: Play there. Many events, many players (there is nearly no other server with that many players) and nice staff.

It's closed because Mighty wound up being sued and had no choice but to close down the server due to copyright infringement - Since he was making money off of it. Seriously.. Could've just read up to see this >.>
