A Dead Space 3 demo was played on stage at this year’s E3 EA conference. The demo showed two new major features: the game won’t be solely set in space or on space stations, and the game will feature drop-in, drop-out co-op play.
The game will feature largely on a new ice planet setting, with classic Dead Space undead-zapping action, and a classic FPS concept of fighting armed forces.
The demo showed a massive boss featured in Act 2 of the game fought in co-op live on-stage. Once again, the best I can show you for now are some screenshots, hopefully I can update this tomorrow with a video of the demo.
The game has been announced for release in February 2013.
