Rumors about a remastered collection of the 'Grand Theft Auto' series have been around for months. A recently leaked image in the Rockstar Games launcher has fueled the whole thing. But now the rumor mill is finally over: On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of 'GTA 3', Rockstar Games now officially announces the Remastered Collection. It contains 'Grand Theft Auto 3', 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City' and 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas', as leaked before. Thus, Three favorites of the PS2 era come to our current consoles.

There are currently no great details or even gameplay. Rockstar Games itself, however, speaks of 'graphical improvements' as well as 'modern features'. The Definitive Edition will be released this year for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X l S and PC. A conversion for Android and iOs will appear in 2022.
