Port 80 Blocked!

I recently found out that Cablevision blocks port 80 and they just happen to be my internet service provider. I need this port to allow other people to play on my server. Does any1 no a way to open this port, or get around it?

The People, who wants to play on your server need this (not you), so they could access your 80 Port trough your ISPs proxy or firewall (btw thea need to know the ip or name of the firewall or proxy, which blocks these ports an set them in the http-tunnel app).
Well the easyer way is, you create the accounts manually through dbutil for them. (Port 80 is only needed for account creation, nothing more -.- ), or just change your ISP^^.

U sure about 80 only being needed for account sign up? cause i have made accounts on dbutil and gotten on the server, but ppl couldnt connect.

And can u explain what the ppl will have to do w/ the http-tunnel thing?

Port 80 is 100% only for account creation over webbrowser.
Port 3724, 8080, and 8085 ar need for playing, be sure not to block them with your firewallsettings or Antivirsoftware. Watch the Serverconsole (dosbox) during outside people connect, start debugging ;-)

Umm.... standart HTTP port is set to 8080 not 80

that`s true, sorry that I forgot it port 80 is a standard webserver port. WowEmu uses for its account page 8080.

Sorry that you are not familar with networking -learn it! 99% of the server connection of an client depends on the servers Network settings. All what others player need to do is put the IP of your server into the realmlist.wtf in their client Folder. Thats all!
When YOUR firewall or router block their incomming connections it depends on YOU to solve this.
Dont blame me for trying beeing helpful. And please dont tell me what I have to do -.-
