So.. lets start.

You will need your external internet ip if you'd like to get your server online. You can look up your ip

And you have also to install the .NET Framework 1.1!

First Emu:

These are just the main emu files, patches for the repacks you can find

If there isnt a /maps/ folder in your dled Repack, create it, dl

and put it into the folder

Well... lets start.

Now after you've finished downloading the emu file of your choice you have to follow this step by step tut

1st Step: Extract the Files
Just extract the files out of the .rar file to an destination folder of your choice.

2nd Step: Patching the Emu
Browse to the folder with the emu in it and search for the file called 'WoWemu.v0.4735.1.9.Patch.By.Osiris.exe'

3rd Step: Making the maps
Browse to the /maps folder in your emu dir and start the batcreator.exe , now hit the browse button and go to your WoW dir which contains your WoW.exe and klick the create-button, then the extract-button.
The program will ask you if you'd like to delete Interface and World, pick yes.

4th Step: Cofiguring the Emu
Open the WoWemu.key file with Editor or WordPad and edit the server name and ip.
If play only by yourself on this server your ip will be 127.0.0.1, if you'd like that your server is accessible from the internet or lan, enter your internet-/lan-ip.

If you use Raidens Repack or original WoWemu 1.8 you also have to open the file startup.tcl in your /scripts/ folder and edit

And, as always you have to edit your realmlist.wtf which is located in your WoW-folder.

5th Step: Creating Accounts
Open the file Dbutil.exe in your emu folder, if the program asks you to start Exclusive Mode (Direct Access) pick yes.
If it tells you your players.save file is corrupt, dl

Then you get this window:

The labels are self explaining i think, you only need acc name, pw and player level(0=normal user,6=developer)
If you're finished with it, click the 'commit' button and the account has been created.
It should look like this:

6th Step: Starting the Server
Just run WoWemu.exe which is located in your emu folder.
If there are these lines in the dos window:

WowwoW Beta 0.1

1st Step: Download the Emu

Execute the downloaded WowwoW Beta 0.1 file and choose a directory of your choice.
This would have to look like this:

3rd Step: Getting up the server

After all files were extracted, browse to the directory of your choise and execute the WowwoW.exe.
When the server has loaded properly, it would look like this:

4th Step: Editing the Realmlist

Like always, you have to edit the realmlist which is located in your WoW folder.

5th Step: Creating Accounts

Accounts are created in the http folder, but you can't create a GM account. However you can use the account which is already created.

Account: Admin
Password: Changeme

You also have the possibility to create one in the account file, this would look like this:

This Tut shows u how to set a server and the client up to work with original blizz 1.9.0 patch together

Emu 1.9.0 Guide (Raiden M4 repack):

1) Download the main Emu file:

2) Download the Emu up-date file:

3) Basically install the main emu file first, then the emu up-date, then place the new loader file into your emu directory.

After downloading and extracting the Emu you now then have to:

1) Run W0WEmu.v0.4735.1.9.Patch.By.0SiRiS.exe
2) Run SBRAutoStart.exe
3) Press Start Button
4) Wait till the loading is complete

Now a few changes in your WoW installation. Without them you can't connect to the server with 1.9 version!

You will need

Tool, and also a File out of an 1.8.x installation of the game, so if you dont have one just downpatch it. When u got your installation at 1.8.x open the Tool from above and open the dbc.mpq which is located in /data/ of your wow installation. In there search the Spell.dbc file and extract it for example to your desktop

Now you can update your wow version back to 1.9 and go on with the following steps:
1) Run the WinMPQ tool and extract all your *.mpq files into your /data/ folder, this will take a wile.
2) When it has finished download

3) lets go on...
After u dled this exe place it into your WoW directory.
Now browse to \data\DBFilesClient\Spell.dbc and delete it.
Now take the Spell.dbc you extracted out of the 1.8 version and place it into that \data\DBFilesClient\ folder.

After this you can start your game with this .exe and connect to the server u just got up.

If you'd like to play on blizz'es servers again you just have to get all the extracted files and the cracked wow.exe out of your WoW folder into another. Reinstall: just get them back into the wow folder

Im sorry for the pedantically installation, but i cant upload a 1.8 Spell.dbc for all of you, cuz not all of you have the German version of WoW.

For including the new t2 models you need

items.scp.
Open it and search the items you'd like to edit with the new models.
When you found them look at the model= entry and save the number anywhere.
Now open your items.scp in your WoWemu folder and search there also the same items as in the other items.scp. When you got them just edit the number after model= with the number you got out of the items.scp you dled.

Other side: How to get a client 1.8.x with the new 1.9.x styles?

1. Save the file patch.mpq from a 1.9.x version of the game (original one)
2. then get wow back to 1.8.x (2nd install or downpatch)
3. Download

4. open the patch.mpq you saved onto your desktop with it
5. extract it all to your Wow installation into the /data/ folder
6 Delete spell.dbc in \Data\DBFilesClient\
7. now delete WDB and WTF folder

GERMAN (Original)

1. von eurer Offiziellen WoW Version 1.9.x die Datei patch.mpq z.B auf dem Desktop sichern.
2. eine WOW Version mit 1.8.0 haben (für den EMU funzt mit 1.8.0 am besten)
3. das Tool

4. die patch.mpq auf dem Desktop mit dem Proggi öffnen.
5. alles in den WOWemu Ordner (da wo die WoW.exe ist) \Data entpacken
6 in dem WoWemu Ordner (da wo die WoW.exe ist) unter \Data\DBFilesClient\ die Datei Spell.dbc löschen
7. löscht nach der Installation noch die Ordner WDB und WTF, denn da werden die Daten gecached und so könnte es passieren dass man die models nicht angezeigt bekommt.

EMU:

ladet euch

und

wenn die beiden installed sind die maps entpacken.
dann in dem EMU Ordner (da wo die wowemu.exe ist) einen neuen Ordner namens "logs" machen (wenn er noch nicht existiert)
Im Emu Ordner (wo die wowemu.exe ist) unter Srcipts\lx\ die startup.tcl löschen
dann die dateien

udn

loaden
und in den entsprechenden Verzeichnissen ersetzen.

/edit für alle denen das zu kompliziert ist hab ich hier alles fertig

ihr müsst nur noch die maps entpacken.
