[WPE] & [CE] Take any quest (bypass prereqs, faction, no NPC needed)

With a little help from WPE and CE you can take any quest anywhere you are (also hordes can take ally quests and the other way around). You have to meet the lvl requirements for the quest tough.

What you do, is you change an item (lets say hearthstone - 6948) to an item thet starts a quest (lets say Faintly Glowing Crystal - 23678) with CE. Then in WPE (using 15, 16 slot) you change the quest that Faintly Glowing Crystal starts to another quest. Now use the item and accept the quest.

Assuming you know how to use WPE & CE I did not post screens and didn't go into depths of simple WPE, CE using. Also, tested this out in a server that has BT attunement req (as there was a post here somewhere about ppl wanting to get into BT, but the quest wasn't there), but didn't get the BT questline with this, so i assume it has been removed in some servers.

what did i have to change at the WPE filter?
search for what?
and change in what?

tested it only with CE "Hearthstone" to "Blood of Zul'jin". but no Quest starts. and i get an memory error.

any tips for that?

People who have issues with this :

for CE, target WOW.exe
use your "heartstone"
make a scan for "6948"
freeze it, and change the value to "23678"
you just changed your HS into the crystal
(FYI : YOU do need to have "Faintly Glowing Crystal" because without it, you cant change anything )

now wpe

in WPE pro, create a new filter.
go to collumn 15 - 16
Search : 7E - 5C (the crystal id = 23678 = 5C7E hex, 7E5C twisted)
Modify : XX - XX (ID of the quest you want )


so first start CE, modify the value, then start this filter, use heartstone
and pick up the quest you want xD

i also want to ask, if its possible to change item ID required for completing the quest, with some other items' ID already in your Bagg?

For your information : I just changed my Hearthstone to , right-clicked it and accepted the Thunderfuryquest [].
Then i changed my Hearthstone to and started the Quest for the Staff Atiesh, [], which is normally only aviable for caster and i am a rouge....

Then i changed my hearthstone to , rightclicked and accepted the Quest, called a GM cause i cant hand the Quest in, showed him my , he deleted it and added me . Im playing on an lvl 80 Wotlk Server. I also got the Q for the Dragonblight Attunement this way, changing my Hearthstone into and .

So, i didnt had any of the Q-Starting items, i hacked my HS with CE, always worked fine.

Hello everyone,

While trying to search for the heartstone ID in the memory, I've found 2 hundred of memory adresses that have as a value the HS'ID. So, I tried to freeze all the value so that I'll havethe heartone modified for sure. And unfortunately, WoW crashed. I repeated the procedure several times and always the same result crash

Can some one idicate me how to use CE in order to locate the exact memory adress where the heartone ID is stored?

u can use all adresses which are BLACK , dont take the GREEN ones.

Ich könnte mit diesem Trick auch rein Theoretisch den HS zum einem Questgegenstand machen .. würde dieser dann Funktionieren wie der normale Questgegenstand ? Oder brauch man dazu den richtigen ?

I don't have any green adress all results are plotted using black color. Pretty strange hein? Can anyone help me plz? Always when I try to change the value of all the adresses, wow works fine for a while and then it crashes .

PS: I'm using the cheat Engine 5.4 downloaded directly from the official site of his developpers.
