das es am ende eh keinen schert, wollte ich fragen, ob sich jemand
mal ransetzen möchte und für uns alle ein
Komplett neuen und Nach dem Stand von heute
Guide schreiben möchte. Also sollte dabei sein das mit dem
Helm Fixen, Rasse zu Rasse usw...
Natürlich, nur wenn es nicht zuviel Arbeit macht, auch mit Bildern,
Links zu den benötigten Programmen und dem was sonst noch dazu
gehört.
Ich finde die Guides die hier zu finden sind, sind etwas veraltet und den
durchblick finde ich ehrlich gesagt nicht, welchen ich nun nehmen sollte,
da sich ja beim Modelchangen etwas geändert haben soll!
Wäre also cool wenn sich ein paar Mutige zusammen finden und mal
was komplett neues schreiben. Kann man sich ja reinteilen

Edit: Hab es jetzt mal nach der Anleitung im den Textfile unten versucht,
aber das is sau kompliziert und hab da grad nicht den richtigen Durchblick!
Sind auch sauviele Dateien die ich in MWCS irgendwie nur einzeln extrahieren
kann... Also sowas in der Art z.b. für Rasse zu Rasse. Aber vllt etwas
übersichtlicher^^

this might be alittle confusing:
9. read this whole and then start to work on it:Go back to MWS, instead of going to File: "Opem MPQ archive" go to :
Pack: "Create MPQ Archive" call it "Patch-X" where X= any number between 4 and 9 or any other abc letter.
save this mpq archive at the data folder, near "Common.mpq" and all the rest.
now, you click Pack agian, "Add file to this archive", and you add the files you renamed, first those outside the
male folder, then thos inside: but wait! when you press the file you want to add, only the "GnomeMaleFaceLower00_00.blp"
line will apear, what you need to do is open up another MWS in the background, go to "Character\Gnome" and use the
"Copy TreePath" option, instead of "Extract" it will look like "Character\SCOURGE\MALE\ScourgeMaleFaceLower00_00. blp",
save it into notepad file. now lets work on the files outside the gender folder: say
"Character\Gnome\FacialLowerHair00_00.blp"
, do the pack-add file step I said befor, and add the "Character\Gnome\" part befor "GnomeMaleFaceLower00_00.blp",
when you click OK it should manualy create a folder in this mpq archive called "Character", inside you will have
another "Gnome" folder, where after you are done extracting all the files should be containing "Male" aswell.
a note to the "m2" file, which is actualy the UD model named like "GnomeMale.m2"
you need to copy his treepath seperatly, because he is in the "CHARACTER" folder, and not the "Character",
so don't paste the "Character\Gnome\Male\GnomeMale.m2" treepath, but "CHARACTER\Gnome\Male\GnomeMale.m2"
if you did it correctly you should end up with an mpq file like the "Common" 1 , but with alot less folders
you should have this files in it: "Character" folder, inside it: "Gnome"inside that 1 alot of .blp files and
another "Male" folder, which got more .blp files.
you should also have a "CHARACTER" folder, with a folder named "Gnome" in it, inside the "Gnome" folder you
should have "Male", inside that male folder you should have "GnomeMale.m2"
all you need to do is use the "Save and close archive" option, which is in "Pack" agian, and start wow with
"ModelEditFix" from
