[Tool] Real ID Disabler + Disable Real ID by Hotpockets

Quote:
I recently found this and I though it might be interesting for you:
As some one who has Real ID friends who are constantly bugging them when they bot (whether they know I bot or not, some do and that's why they bug meh ) I started looking for an easy, and hasslefree way of temporarily disabling Real ID. Some thing that all I would have to do is hit a button or two then start botting in peace. Well, I've found a way!

Here is a program I think is the closest thing to an on-off switch that I'm going to get.

+ What it does and how it works +

The WoW client connects to the IP 12.129.206.130 (which I've come to a conclusion that's the Real ID server) on TCP port 1119 when you log in along with the game servers IP and game port (6112 I think?). All my program does is add a Windows Firewall Rule using netsh to block all outgoing TCP connections on port 1119. Here's the result:

+ Readme +
1. Log in and pick a character
2. Choose 2 to disable Real ID
3. Send a broadcast message to your friends
4. Done! Bot in peace! Play in peace! Do whatever!
5. When you want to turn Real ID back on simply choose 1 then restart WoW

You have to run this program as an Administrator and it requires that Windows Firewall be turned on. Please restart WoW after you re-enable. You cannot log into WoW with Real ID disabled.

I have only tested this with Windows 7 and Vista. I not sure if this will work on XP or any thing lower since the netsh command was changed in Windows Vista.

+ How to do this manually +
Please check your third-party firewalls' documentation/help menus on how to block ports if you are unsure how to.

1. Log in and pick a character
2. Block all outgoing TCP connections on port 1119 with your firewall
3. Send a broadcast message to your friends
4. Done! Bot in peace! Play in peace! Do whatever!
5. When you want to turn Real ID back on simply remove the block then restart WoW

This is the GUI Version:

You will need version 4.0 of the .NET Framework. You'll know if you don't have it if you get an error when trying to run it.

    process.Start();
    process.WaitForExit();
    MessageBox.Show("Please restart WoW in order to establish connection to RealId");
