What Nobody Tells You About GGL
What nobody really tells you is that once you spend a significant amount of money on a tool like this, there seems to be a quiet reluctance to openly admit when it performs in a mediocre way. Instead, you’re encouraged to keep testing, try different rotations, and spend more money — which ends up feeling like a cycle that keeps the business going rather than solving the actual problem.
From my experience, the performance simply doesn’t match the expectations created by reviews and community hype. The behavior often feels basic, inconsistent, and lacking real decision depth in PvP scenarios. Reaction timing, interrupt logic, dispel handling, and overall arena awareness don’t reflect what you would expect from something positioned as a premium solution.
A pattern that stands out is how praise is often focused on extremely simple cases. Seeing people describe basic rotations like Frost Mage gameplay in Classic or Burning, which can be very minimal mechanically as “incredible” creates a disconnect between marketing, feedback, and real complexity. That makes it difficult to understand whether the value comes from the tool itself or from low expectations.
There is also a strong reliance on showcasing logs, ratings, or success examples without enough context about how much is manual play, setup differences, or edge cases. For experienced players who have tried multiple tools over the years, this makes many claims feel like they should be taken with caution rather than at face value.
If you come from that background someone who has used different solutions, understands PvP decision-making, and tries this because of forum reviews the experience can feel very different from what is promised. The gap between expectation and reality becomes noticeable.
I’m sharing this because honest feedback like this would have saved me a lot of time and money months ago. More transparent expectations, clearer communication about limitations, and less reliance on hype would help users make better decisions.

But did you get banned?
All jokes aside, I've personally had a good experience with GGL since MetaEngine. I'm not sure whose rotations you've used with GGL or which version you used, but it sounds like you didn't have the best experience or had unrealistic expectations for a pixel bot.
Personally myself, I have played classes like Pres Evoker, Holy Pal, Disc Priest, Veng DH, both PVE and PVP, and have had great results getting both Keystone hero and 2800 rating, I have also played other classes/specs as well, that sometimes also didnt perform as expected, however, that's a hit and miss, and you also need to report those class/spec issues to the people that develop the rotations, that simply doesnt fall on GGL itself.
If you're trying to compare this to something like Unlocker/Internal or other memory rotation bots, it's just not going to measure up the same, and you can't really have the expectations that it would. However, you can achieve endgame content; I've seen people with multiple R1's using GGL over the years, so to say it's not good would be unfair in my opinion.
And really, people use GGL because it's undeniable that it's the safest public available platform with no bans other than a small instance in 2018.
Whatever your issues are, I hope you can get them resolved, but I do suggest speaking to the rotation developers, as they're the ones who make the rotations; only they can make the rotation better if there are indeed issues.

If I'm telling you the issues i am having with the GGL in the past month, you will start crying. My hair turned white since I've started using it, nerves on a daily basis, and the **** is still ongoing. I just spent to much money on it, very disappointed.

Yeah, same experience, it's decent in PvE with lots of bugs though.
Bought MetaEngine for an insane amount and the profile.
In PvE on simple classes with simple rotations you can pull high parses, but in PvP it's trash and I'm a main PvP guy, so it was unlucky I guess.
I'm actually trying to sell my MetaEngine & rotation - if anybody is interested, please hit me up.

the only viable option atm is PS, thats where i saw all devs moving, there must be a reason, but they are so ******* tryhard with the application ****...

Definitely not the only viable option, and not "All the devs" go to PS, a large majority of the 3rd parties on PS were Ai slop devs, I would hardly call Murloc Rotations "all the devs" lol.. while they are (Murloc) good rotation developers, they're not "all the devs", they simply went there after the Auora framework went there, and their rotations relied on that framework. There are plenty of rotation frameworks that support multiple platforms, and there are multiple privates (real privates) out there as well.

My man went from begging for a vouch to getting into PS a week ago, to making spam posts about how great PS is lol you can't make this crap up.
The shilling is just endless with Project Sylvanas; they must have really wanted attention so bad for Midnight Release.

While there are definitely annoyances with GGL its mostly with the dev's and not GGL its self. I've had to handhold several dev's through developing classic rotations because most of them only play retail and simply read a guide and throw something together. While its annoying because your paying a sub to fix their rotation in the end its great because the nice thing about classic is once a rotation is fixed its done for the entire expansion vs retail constantly needing reworks. GGL definitely requires more input than unlockers but after getting banned 11 times and not having been banned in 3+ year on ggl its more than worth it.
