So you have to purchase GGL then find whatever Dev is making profiles and purchase a profile from them? So you have to pay the month sub, a one time fee for a class that is essentially for nothing, to turn around and pay another month fee to a dev?

You pay one time fee to unlock and use a class, where most rotation bot take a montly price of 30-40euro/month.
GGL takes 10Euro/month, but they have one time payment per expansion for the classes. Where you can either buy 1 class or AIO all classes for a one time fee. Which in the end makes it cheaper then most.
GGL right now dont make there own offical rotations, but there are profiles that are free and also other stuff you have access to, so you can use your rotation for any class.
You also have premium profiles that you can pay for to get access to that support PvP and highend mythic raiding and high m+
I think its these premium profile you talk about, most other platforms have the same.
HyperELK have it, Aimsharp have it etc.. most have community made profiles for sale that are premium from the free ones.

In general how much are these "premium" profiles? Are they monthly or one time fees?

They are montly and it all depends on what you after.
They range all from 10 Euro/month to 90Euro/month.
From single profile/specc to up to all speccs/classes

Well, you could always try to get one of the developers from one of the bigger bots to custom-make you something. Personally, Morpheus seems like a ripoff to be in terms of value for money. Basically, they just running some AHK scripts with WA2 pixels, not sure that's worth paying the price they ask for it.

Honestly I'm just kind of taking a peak and giving everyone a try atm. So far just from a wotlk standpoint only both simia and elk have limited support I'd say from a pve stand point and next to nothing pvp wise. Both have great customer service. I've just bought aimsharp and I'm. Beyond disappointed with the customer service atm I can't even get simple answer from the team. But they have paid pve profiles it seems so shelling out $40 a month for a single pve spec. I guess next on the list for next month pay be ggl.

I just don't think you will find much support in general for WOTLK; no one really cares about it in the rotations community. Retail is the main focus for both Core Developers and 3rd party developers.
Time to head back to retail

I’m just going to put my opinion in here. I agree with OP. HyperElk is the best bang for your buck if you’re interested in high end PvE. For the money as opposed to everything else, it cannot be beat. Has a great interface, auto bind is great, most devs are on the ball (I’m a healer and Ryu/Playmate’s rotations are very refined, I was parsing 85-95% out of the box on most heroic fights)
I tried GGL in the past and setting everything up was very difficult, Morpheus just doesn’t seem worth it from the few people I know who’ve purchased it.
I truly wish that lua unlockers and gohandsfree were still around for pvp without getting banned insta. I hit 2800 in rbgs and 2400 in 2s with that

I completely agree from what they offer on the pve from elk is unmatched. Although I think simia is up and coming and won't be far behind. But sadly for pvp there is nothing that compares to the unlockers in terms of performance and price. But you have to be okay with being banned as a windows user hence my witch hunt for pixel bots atm 😂

If pixel bots added farming, you would surely be seeing seasonal bans, but since most of these combat bots don't you really see Blizzard caring all that much if at all.

An statement about WOTLK.
Loader was updated last week.
Addon was updated i dont know how many months ago.
I hate to have a subpar product, and that's how WOTLK feels. Me and Human are not motivated enough to try to add features or requests about it.
WOTLK Features/Suggestion will still be taken on account, we will fix issues with the loader or addon not working asap (the new update for WOTLK will break the addon, i've personally tested on PTR),
The lack of information (aka Simc), also makes everything a pain to update.
So i'm announcing that WOTLK is currently in MAINTENANCE MODE, aka, we will fix all bugs that prevent usage. Will take some requests.
So if you brought on the last month specifically for WOTLK, i will refund you. Just DM Rubim.
tamedbeast, Would you mind editing your post and remove WoTLK from SimiaCore part, last thing we want is to confuse users.

Thanks updated the information to reflect those changes.

Hey man! Thanks for the detailed review, among all the bots youve tried, which one do you think is the best when it comes to a stupid user?
Ive been using hyperelk for quite some time now as a sub rogue and outlaw rogue on m+ and raids. It does great on raids but on m+ i am doing less than average damage compared to other players same ilvl as me.
Although i know its not elk's problem but more on me not knowing my class well, which is why i am looking for a bot that doesnt really need much manual input from a user. Elk does amazing job but i always hear that i need to toggle things and manually do things to maximize it. Are there any bots out there that eliminates this?
I dont mind if its higher price than others.

This is going to be the case for all rotation bots really, even unlockers. You always want to manually use longer than usual cooldowns as most of them are situational. While bots can usually do a good job using those cooldowns the human mind itself is much better at those deciding factors if you know the basics or your class/spec.

Simia has a nice ingame UI, sadly, Elk does not, but Elk has a larger list of rotations that are well-developed, especially with healers. Both are good, but I prefer the UI style of Simia over Elk.
