Its a repost of my topic from the contributer forum. Just without an wow account and a bit older version.

Carbonite is an all in one kindda addon. Its pay to use. It got a googlemap-like map, quests objectives shown on map, and a shitload of other nifty features.

Now. I dont belive in paying for addons so im sharing it with you here. Unfortunately the addon creator made it so you have to log onto a specific char in order to "activate" the full version of the addon.

Download and put the AddOn in the AddOn folder and the config.wtf in your WFT folder.
Maybe you need to reconfigure your WoW after this.

Sollte es nicht reichen das einer das "aktiviert/whatever" und dann den AddonOrdner zum Download anbietet? Oder zumindest die .lua file, weil das ja anscheinend die einzige ist, die das mit der "aktivierung" beinhalten kann. Somit kann sich jedermann das mit dem Pserver sparen...

sollte wohl nicht SOOOOOOOOO schwer sein das addon zu "cracken"... ka hab 5 minuten rumgespielt aber erst 2 von 15 gexorten table rausbekommen.

da ist noch irgendwas falsch aber da es nur lua ist, kann mans echt ohne probleme cracken aber das addon ist, mir zumindestens, nicht den zeitaufwand wert

also ich habs mal ausprobiert auf meinen pserver und das funktioniert nicht.
hab den realm "Auchindoun" genannt und dann einen char mit dem namen "gerrock" erstellt. hab außerdem mal alle anderen addons ausgeschalten aber carbonit verursacht soviele fehler das wow das addon abschalten will und freigeschalten wird da nix.

hmm wird das nicht in irgendner datei gespeichert dann, wenn man den char aufm p-server macht? vll kann man ja die vervielfältigen... nja @king00: hast du die englische WoW version bzw englisches sprachpaket drauf? funtzt nur so^^ ..oder vll liegts am "deutschen" emu nja..so well^^ find sogar schon die free version wäre geld wert^^

ist wirklich so großer unterschied zu carbonite quest?..zu den quest wäre zB noch geiler wenn der mir ne zeitersparende reihenfolge/strecke zeigt...halt sowas was ima in nem level guide steht^^...sprachausgabe wie in nem navi wäre auch geil xD

also das addon legt 2 savedvariables.lua dateien im wtf ordner an, da steht erstmal nix wegen freischaltung oder irgendwas drin, naja hat ja bei auch nicht geklappt.

Danke an den Upper. Wenn ich es jedoch mit dem 1 Click Installer Versuche schmiert mir mein WoW immer ab. Habe auch das englische Sprachpaket. Werde es jetzt mal mit Ascent versuchen.

könnte mal jemand sein wtf ordner hochladen, den ich hab keine lust mir gerad nen pserver zu erstellen.

oder bzw. ich sehe das doch richtig, der pserver muss NICHT laufen wenn ich das Addon auf den Live Server nutzen will, oder?

Du musst das Addon EINMAL aktivieren indem Du dich mit nem Char, den Du beim Kauf angegeben hast auf dem Server, den Du angegeben hast einloggst. Dann ist das Addon für alle deine Chars nutzbar... das lässt sich z.B. machen, indem Du dir nen PServer machst, der den passenden Namen und nen passenden Char hat. Ich nehme mal an, dass es nicht einfach so mitm WTF geht, weil das ja irgendwie n bisschen sehr blöd von dem Programmierern wäre, das SO einfach zu machen...
