
WWE 2K26 Announced: CM Punk Showcase, Switch 2 Support & Release Date
The biggest roster in history and the return of the General Manager Draft.
Get ready to step back into the squared circle. 2K and Visual Concepts have officially unveiled WWE 2K26, and it is packing some serious heat this year.
The game is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and -confirming recent hardware rumors - the Nintendo Switch 2 on March 13, 2026.
If you preorder the King of Kings, Attitude Era, or Monday Night Wars editions, you get Early Access starting March 6.
Showcase Mode: The Voice of the Voiceless
This year's 2K Showcase focuses on none other than CM Punk. You will play through the "most personal Showcase history" covering his initial rise to the top, his rebellion (voice of the voiceless), and his shocking return to WWE.
The mode will feature historic scenarios and "what if" storylines regarding his biggest rivalries.
Key Features & Improvements
- Massive Roster: 2K is promising the largest roster ever with over 400 playable Superstars. Confirmed names include The Rock, Triple H, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, Rey Fénix, Rusev, and Blake Monroe.
- New Match Types: Chaos is the theme this year. New match types include I Quit, Inferno, and Dumpster Matches.
- Universe Mode Update: Finally, the WWE Draft feature is natively integrated. You can now fully control the draft, creating your own brand splits and rivalries with a new "Universe Creation Wizard."
- Community Creations: Creators get 200 CAS Slots (create a superstar), expanded face/body morphing tools, and more space for custom images.
- MyGM Strategy: General Manager mode now supports mixed-gender matches and larger multi-man bouts (5, 6, and 8-man matches).
The "Island" Online Hub
The online lobby system has been expanded into "The Island" - a massive interactive hub where you can join factions, interact with other players, and jump into the new "scrapyard brawl" arena.
