Battlefield 5: Premium-currency announced

Since the announcement of the begin of developing Battlefield 5, its publisher EA clearly said, that the next chapter of the legendary gaming franchise will not contain any lootbox content or a premium pass. But in a later interview it came out, that they will implement a premium-currency. Read more what the currency will will contain and how you can earn it.

To the gaming site "Polygon" the publisher officially confirmed, that there will be a special currency in Battlefield 5. It can only be earned with paying real money. But the good thing is: You can only buy cosmetic items with that premium currency. An EA worker said: "This will access an infinite possibility of variations to integrate". For example there will be face-camouflage or optical changes of gears and rifles.

Additional to that buyable premium-currency there will be another one that you can earn with playtime or by completing rewards and challenges. The rewarded money will depend on each challenge.

What do you think about that development? Let us know
