In the past, 'Golden Sample' was meant to be something special. But nowadays, with releasing the GTX 1080ti 'Golden Sample', Gainward wasn't really innovative. The GTX 1080ti 'Golden Sample' comes with the referencedesign plus a bit more clock frequency.
The untouched referencedesign is specified with 1.480/1.582 MHz while the 'Golden Sample' can reach up to 1.506/1.620 MHz.
If you where waiting for a great Gainward customdesign, you have to continue doing so since the 'Golden Sample' isn't the typical 'Ganiward-Rocket'.
What do you think? Is it worth to buy the GTX 1080ti or would you prefer the way cheaper GTX 1080 since it should be fast enough for the most actual cases?
