Inspection of Hacks & Purchase Receipts

Inspection of hacks & purchase receipts

Dear Elitepvpers community,

This guide is meant to explain our inspection of hacks or purchase receipts to you in order to avoid questions and issues that may affect processing times.

Who is affected?
The most important thing is that practically everyone wanting to sell product keys and hacks is affected. Inspections are performed at random, that is: not every offer will be, but any offer can be subject to an inspection.

How do hack inspections work?
Your go-to person for the inspection of hacks is Zonkee. He or another moderator will send you a private message if an inspection is required from you. The private message will contain a link to our inspection system that will allow you to upload your hack and leave notes. Furthermore, you will also be able to check the status of your ticket.

The ticket will look like this:In order to ensure that your tickets can be processed as quickly as possible, please use the integrated chat of our control system located in the lower right corner of the page.If we do not receive any response from you within 7 days, your ticket will be closed and any other thread in which you offer a hack for sale will be deleted and punished accordingly. In order to avoid this situation, you should contact Zonkee via private message in case your ticket has been closed due to inactivity.

How are purchase receipt inspections handled?
A moderator will leave a post in your thread and tell you to whom you have to send your purchase receipts to have them inspected. At the same time, your thread will be closed and then re-opened as soon as the inspection is completed.

In order for you to be allowed to sell your product(s), your receipt should contain the following information:
  • order number / product key
  • date of order
  • your address
  • number of items
  • a visible source
  • price
  • payment method

Here is an example of how a purchase receipt could look like. Needless to say that it does not have to be exactly like that this is merely to give you a vague idea of what is required. Note that product keys have to be in your possession as you offer them. Offering product keys in Black Market that you have yet to purchase yourself right before a sale is not allowed.

Please note that having receipts checked by a moderator does not imply any guarantee that a product key is working and not fake. Always keep in mind that you are never entirely safe against fraud on the Internet, especially when trading with an individual rather than some company.

If you have any further questions regarding the inspection of purchase receipts, please feel free to contact Krotus.

Possible consequences
Presenting fake purchase receipts or uploading malware/viruses will be punished with a permanent ban.

The General Board Rules

1. General Remarks

  1. You can check out the current forum staff here. You can also see a list of all assigned moderators on the bottom right when viewing a forum. An overview of all existing forum ranks can be found here. If you feel like joining the forum staff yourself, you should check out this forum.

  2. You can read up on warnings and infractions (there is a difference!) as well as on other details regarding our penalty system here.

  3. You can address complaints and other issues via the Support. We will not discuss infractions, bans and/or other penalties in the forums, nor in the shoutbox, nor in any other public area of the board.

  4. The board administration has the final say in any discussion.

  5. You are free to create a new account after a permanent ban, provided you have not been flagged as no longer welcome.

  6. Official threads like the local rules can be identified by the elitepvpers symbol

  7. The following rules apply to all forums (including the shoutbox), but can be extended or loosened by section-specific rules. You can find local rules like the Black Market Rules either as announcements or as sticky threads (those are marked with [Rules]). All violations of local rules are minor violations by default. Exceptions are denoted accordingly.

2. Very Severe Violations

  1. Engaging in or advertising illegal activities (fraud, carding etc.) is strictly forbidden. This also includes hacking computers, servers or accounts that do not belong to you (elitepvpers is okay with game hacking, not hacking)!

  2. Spreading malware of any kind (stealer, keylogger, RATs etc.) is forbidden.

  3. Extreme insults, baiting or racist comments especially when addressed to the forum staff will not be tolerated.

  4. Advertising forums competing with elitepvpers (about gamehacking and trading) is forbidden.

  5. The use of multiple accounts, manipulation of account stats (TBM ratings, thanks) and attempts at dodging negative ratings will not be tolerated. As soon as a person owns more than one unbanned acount, we consider it a case of multiaccounting! Additional accounts for siblings or for other compelling reasons must first be requested via support!

  6. You may not bypass temporary bans by creating a new account for the duration of the ban.

  7. Massive spam on the forums or via private message is forbidden.

3. Severe Violations

  1. Posting or requesting warez (cracked software, keygens etc.) is forbidden.

  2. Posting pornography is forbidden. We consider images/videos to be pornographic if they show primary or secondary sexual characteristics.

  3. You are not allowed to impersonate a member of the forum staff (e.g. by using rank icons as your avatar or misleading nicknames).

  4. Abusing the thanks system (especially trading thanks) is forbidden.

4. Serious Violations

  1. Insulting, flaming, accusing and baiting other members is forbidden.

  2. Posting referral links is forbidden. You may only share them via private messages and only if you are asked to do so.

  3. Advertising other websites is only allowed if they contain a publicly accessible link back to elitepvpers. Advertising your own Facebook page, Twitter account or Youtube channel is only allowed if they have liked/followed/subscribed the respective elitepvpers profile.

  4. The use of survey download mirrors (e.g. Sharecash) is only allowed, if you provide an alternative download mirror with no such limitations.

  5. You are not allowed to post questions or requests in a release forum (marked with [NO QUESTIONS]).

  6. Any intentional abuse of the report system (i.e. reporting the same post multiple times, reporting legitimate posts just for the fun of it etc.) is forbidden.

5. Minor Violations

  1. Making up your own rank icons and using them as your avatar is forbidden.

  2. Making posts that are unnecessary or meaningless one-word posts like "#reported" or "#closerequest" is forbidden.

  3. Posting twice in a row is to be avoided. Exceptions due to compelling reasons should be discussed with a moderator first.

  4. Pushing/bumping outdated threads is only allowed if there is a good reason, e.g. if you have the same the question, but so far no satisfying answer has been given in the thread. If in doubt, ask a moderator whether you should pick up the old thread or rather create a new one instead.

  5. We do not take kindly of unfriendly or provocative behavior towards other members; the same goes for excessive trolling.

  6. Usernames which partially or fully contain an URL are forbidden.

6. Signature Rules

In addition to the general board rules, the following special rules apply to signatures (violations of both being minor):
  1. Signatures should not cause discomfort or annoy other members (e.g. by using excessively bright colors or annoying animations)

  2. The maximum allowed file size for images used in signatures is 600KB. This value refers to the combined file size of all images used in a signature (including images placed in spoilers)!

7. Penalties

  • As a basic principle, any first-time rule violation will usually result in a warning whereas repeated violations will result in infractions.

  • Severe and very severe violations can qualify for an immediate infraction or even a ban. However, when it comes to minor violations, we may sometimes hand out multiple warnings for repeated violations.

  • Only infractions result in infraction points. Reaching 3 active infraction points will result in a ban. The ban duration depends on the severity of your violations, hence the amount of temporary bans before the final permanent one may vary from user to user. It's up to the acting global moderator's (or administrator's) discretion to assess the punishment.

  • We reserve the right to deviate from this system in certain cases. Members who have proven their worth to the community may be looking at reduced penalties whereas known troublemakers can expect a stricter treatment. Any such decisions will be made by the administration individually and are not up for debate.

  • If you still find yourself with 3 or more active infraction points after your temporary ban has expired, you will of course not be banned again. However, should you receive a new infraction after that, resulting in a total of 3 or more active infraction points, you will receive another ban. So keep in mind that it does not take 6 active infraction points for you to get banned twice.

[ATTENTION] Trading Guidelines

Trading Guidelines

Foreword

In order to make trading on our platform safer, you should read the following text carefully. If you want a more in-depth explanation of everything related to trading, look into our glossary. We cannot accept instant messenger logs (e.g. Skype) as evidence since we are not able to retrace and verify them via our system. Trading between private individuals always involves high risks you should therefore always be wary of this fact and open to the idea that things could go wrong. This is why it is important to anticipate such an outcome and be prepared (for instance by requesting an identity card picture [only if there is a current newspaper and handwritten note on the picture as well], make a phone call via landline so you got their number, etc.) should it come to pass. In case of a scam, we can merely ban the affected accounts, but the damage is on you if you did not prepare for this outcome.

Preparation
  • Research
You should look into your trade partner before starting to trade. The forum search is very useful for this. Should the trade partner have already attracted some negative attention, you know to be even more careful or rather trade with someone else instead. Research can help in avoiding scams.
  • Trading Conversation
If you would like to discuss the trade with your trade partner, do it via private message. Make sure to enable the option for saving copies of sent messages via user control panel. When discussing trades via private message, also make sure to be as clear and unmistakably as possible, especially when discussing the specifics of your trade; you should also make sure to have your trade partner explicitly agree to said specifics.
  • Safe Payment Methods
    1. elite*gold
elite*gold is the virtual currency that is being used throughout elitepvpers. Among other advantages, elite*gold allows for using so-called treasures which will lock the amount of elite*gold charged for the treasure for 24h after purchase. This means that whoever sold you a treasure cannot spend the elite*gold received from you for another 24h after the purchase. If it becomes clear that there is a problem during that period, the respective amount of elite*gold can be locked for even longer by opening a dispute on the elite*gold transaction - this gives you plenty of time to discuss the matter with whoever sold you the treasure or contact our support about the matter.
You can always lock elite*gold by opening a dispute on the respective transaction, even if it was send to another member directly, without any treasure. However, when sending elite*gold directly, the amount will only be locked for 5 minutes before the recipient will be able to spend it; so if you are planning on opening a conflict on such a transaction, you need to hurry.
    2. Bank Transfer
Bank transfers are deemed to be quite safe. The payment can be proven after many years and you also have the home address of your trade partner, just in case.
    3. PayPal
PayPal is safe as long as you have the identity card (including a current newspaper and handwritten note with the nick name on elitepvpers in the same picture) and also the home address. If you're the one sending money via PayPal, never send the payment as a donation since this will make you unable to charge the money back to your account. Note that if a payment is made for virtual goods, PayPal almost always charges the money back if the payment is disputed. As a buyer you should always provide a clear comment for the transaction!
  • Middleman (Optional)
Middlemen serve as a trust that receives sensitive data from both parties and then takes care of the exchange. Be aware that middlemen first need to accept the trade request and then also approve it. Furthermore, you should take precautions against the risk of being scammed by middlemen (for example by requesting an identity card, since they are also just private individuals who might have an agenda or their own)

How do I trade?

When it comes to the actual trade, you need to be particularly careful, so follow the steps below:
  1. Request a Trade
Before you begin your trade, a trade request needs to be sent to your trade partner. This is possible in every forum of Black Market with the exception of elite*gold trading, freebies and middleman. When the trades has been requested, there are a couple of options. Use the "Private Field" for any sensitive information on your end. By doing this you ensure that your trade partner may only access this information after accepting your trade request. Keep in mind that the field for notes is not the same, but is meant for general remarks regarding the trade at hand!
  2. The Actual Trade
The actual trade should always be conducted on elitepvpers so that we can figure out what happened in case of scam. Therefore, please always use "Private Field" for transferring sensitive information, as already mentioned earlier.
  3. After The Trade
After the has been conducted, you will be able to rate your trade partner. Make sure that your comment for the rating is as plausible and factual (i.e. no insults etc.) as possible.
    1. Positive Rating (+1)
Positive ratings should only be given if the trade was a success for both sides.
    2. Neutral Rating (+0)
Neutral ratings should only be given if no actual trade was conducted or if you weren't satisfied with the behavior of the buyer/seller.
    3. Negative Rating (-1)
Negative ratings should only be given if the trade didn't go well for one side; for example, if you did not receive what you were promised and such.

What methods of scamming are there?

In order to further reduce the chances of getting scammed, it definitely helps to be aware of some common methods of scamming.
  • Middleman Method
In this scenario a middleman is consulted who accepts the trade, but does not approve it so that the trade can be still be cancelled at any time. The scammer takes advantage of new members' inexperience with the trading system. You should also make sure that your trade partner does not simply add a middleman to the trade request without ever consulting you about it beforehand. Never accept a middleman in a trade unless you agreed on using a middleman and the middleman contacted you via private message before the trade.
  • Instant Messenger Method
The scammer claims that elitepvpers's trading system is not working and suggests to conduct the trade for instance via Skype instead. In doing so, any sensitive information would be exchanged via Skype. This method is very dangerous, as we cannot accept instant messenger logs (including Skype) as evidence. Not only would you end up being scammed, you could not even proof it and thus cannot get the scammer's account banned or warn other members by giving a negative rating.
  • PayPal Method
When fairly new members try to trade large amounts of money via PayPal, you should be particularly careful. There are some cases in which stolen PayPal accounts are being used for making the payments. Any payments might later be reversed once the original account owner learns that his account has been hijacked.
  • Name Faker Method
This method involves another account that is used for requesting the trade. Its nickname looks very similar to that of the scammer's main account. By requesting the trade with a fake account, the scammer avoid receiving negative ratings on his main account that would warn others. In order to avoid falling for this method, you should always make sure whether the trade request has been sent by the main or name fake account. You can verify this by visiting the profile via the profile link and checking the account statistics (posts, join date, ratings).
  • elite*gold Method
You might at some point stumble across someone selling elite*gold for money, maybe even at ridiculously low prices. The seller seems to have lots of elite*gold, but requests the payment upfront (preferably a PSC or a similar payment method that cannot be reversed); since the price is so low, you agree and sent the payment upfront. This is when your money is probably gone for good since you made two mistakes here: you agreed to pay for elite*gold upfront and you did not notice that the seller could not send you any elite*gold even if he wanted to, since it was locked because of open disputes or recently bought treasures.
You should always make sure that a seller can actually spend the elite*gold he is offering. You can check this by accessing the seller's TBM profile; the amount of elite*gold that is currently locked is shown as a red negative number following the elite*gold balance (e.g. elite*gold: 150 (-15) which means this member has 150 elite*gold, 15 of which are currently locked and cannot be spend).
When buying elite*gold, you should always demand to receive the elite*gold upfront - you could also put the payment (provided it is in the form of a gift card, PSC or similar) in a treasure and have the seller buy your treasure. In any case, the seller is protected by the dispute system, which allows him to prevent you from spending any of the elite*gold until he has received the payment. So if someone ever offers you elite*gold and insists on your paying upfront, you should kindly decline the offer and find someone else, since you would be taking the entire risk while the seller takes none.

I've fallen victim to a scam, what are my options?

If you were scammed, read the following thread:

Scammed - Now what?

Please also make sure that we do not allow scammer accusations on this forum. Any accusation will be removed and punished accordingly! In order to trade safely on elitepvpers, you might want to look at this thread more closely for next time.

THE BLACK MARKET RULES

[Rules] The Black Market

Hello!

In addition to the general board rules, which have to be observed across all sections, following regulations apply for The Black Market section. Possible rule violations can be reported by using button. Whenever a regulation is violated, immediate punishment - depending on the severity of violation - in form of either warning or infraction can be inflicted. More details regarding this can be found in Infractions & Warnings: Things You Should Know.

1. General
  1. Threads to accuse other users are forbidden. If you have been scammed, use our rating system and/or warn other users in the thread corresponding to your trade(and only there!). You can also try to get the user banned via the Support. Anywhere else accusations are forbidden.
  2. Active trade threads have to remain open. You are not allowed to keep your topic closed while you are actively bumping it. Please mark inactive trades visibly in your first post!
  3. You may only have one unclosed thread per offer. Similar offers or services (e.g. buying and selling elite*gold) are considered the same offer. However, opening multiple threads for related but different offers (e.g. selling Aion gold and WoW gold) is fine.
  4. Rule 3 still applies when you let another user sell your goods (also known as reselling).
  5. If you want to support your offer with feedback, you may only use feedback that was given you on elitepvpers.
  6. During a trade only those details that were agreed upon in the trade request or private messages are binding. Agreements that contradict elitepvpers rules or conventions are always invalid!
  7. Selling products on external websites with automated delivery systems is not allowed. See #5.2 for exceptions.
  8. We reserve the right to act on suspicion!
2. TBM-Ratings:
  1. You are not allowed to give ratings for free offers or raffles.
  2. You may only give one rating per trade. Bypassing this by rating an elite*gold transaction and additionally requesting a trade over our system is forbidden!
  3. Ratings without a corresponding trade are not allowed.
  4. Ratings are voluntary and cannot be enforced. This applies to written feedback in trade topics as well!
  5. In general, any abuse of the rating system is strictly forbidden. When trading, the focus should always be the trade, not the rating. We reserve the right to intervene on suspicion and remove any ratings that have been pushed.
3. Forbidden Trades:
  1. Offers/Requests that violate our global board rules
  2. Goods and services that are acquired by illegal means or use illegal methods
  3. Goods that are unlimitedly available for free to everyone at the time of trading
  4. Accounts, software and keys you do not have a voucher for (be it a scanned document or a digital voucher); the voucher has to be handed off to the buyer!
  5. Offers/Requests without a specific return (Example: "Offering 50 elite*gold, searching anything)
  6. Information, guides and such. elitepvpers stands for free exchange of knowledge! Learn more about why we do not allow information trading
  7. Selling streaming accounts (Netflix, Spotify etc.) in large quantities, i.e. account shops (this also applies to trial accounts!)
  8. The Sale of random Keys and Accounts
4. Rules For Posting:
  1. You cannot bump threads by replying to them. Please use the button labeled "Bump" for this. If you want to give status updates (e.g. about our online status), we recommend editing those into your first post.
  2. Post only if you are interested in a trade or if you can constructively contribute to the topic.
  3. Advertising your service (e.g. Middleman, Bailing/"Trusting") in another thread without the thread-starter explictly asking for it is not allowed.
  4. Bumping other users' threads is forbidden.
5. Trade requests:
  1. Requesting a trade is mandatory in all Black Market forums that support this feature (i.e. everywhere except elite*gold trading, middleman and freebies).
See The Black Market Glossary for further details on the request a trade system.
  2. Selling products on external sites is allowed only if the site contains a backlink to elitepvpers and our trade request system is used nevertheless.
  3. You are allowed to create a trade request for vouches, but as stated in rule #2.1 you are not allowed to rate it because you do not receive anything in return.
