Most profitable craft skill?

Hey there

Just wondering what the most profitable craft skill is when maxed out?

Currently I have Archaeology, Slicing and Underworld Trading. But I'm thinking of switching one out for Treasure Hunting - possibly Archaeology.

What are your guys take on this?

I think you should always look which is the most profitable job for your class.

Wasnt the Question.Try Hacking.Mostly u gain more Credits than spending.

Its "slicing" in the us version,
"hacking (hacken)" is the german the name for the crew skill.

Currently Biochem is considered an essential skill (even after nerf) but is not really profitable since so many people have it.

Cybertech is the next best thing.

In reality, there is a lot of balancing still left to do with the crafting skills. Your best bet is to pick one and level it to 400 THEN start Reverse engineering to get as many of the high level recipes as possible. That alone will take a long time and a lot of credits but you will make it back when that profession becomes viable. Gaining a bunch of RE recipes is going to deter you from dropping a profession since it is so difficult to get top tier recipes.

Instead of "profession hopping" to make profit, create and level alt's (to around 15 or 20) and learn each crafting prof and it's complementary professions on those. You can then alter your focus to the FOTM profession as needed.
