How to get started to make my own Private Server ?

Hello Epvp ,

I am a Programmer who loves SRO and wants to make my own Server ,

but I really want to learn what sro build on and how it really works to make it long term server I can really enjoy

so I searched for days and I am confused on what the right files I can go with ,

and what I need to learn , I don't like the follow me guides on youtube it's not practical for me at all suggest me some material I cant look it up and start to build it

I am really excited to make my own and learn , Thank you

I had around 6 years ago my own server - cap 13
First of all if you want to develop one is not so difficult, the most important thing is if you want to develop it for you or for business scope.In that case is a little expensive with the hosting and security.I had at that time around 600actived users.Old times but <3
I can help you in the weekend for free if you want.
I do this because Sro was my passion.
Now i develop cheats is a big difference.

Claims to be a programmer, doesn't even know how to use period when writing. A single typo makes your entire code useless, mr programmer.

Claims to be wanting it for enjoyment and passion, talks about trying to milk money.

Can't even create a local server, doesn't even know which files to begin with, yet dreams about making money off it.

There are people who've worked on this for the last 10 years and are lightyears ahead of you. They can do things you can't even dream about, even they open servers completely for free and you in your feeble mind think you'll make money? lol

Best you can do is create a hamachi server and play locally. Noone will play in a server created by a complete cheap amateur (assuming you'll ever get to that stage of getting a server ready and advertising it) who is there to "make money".
