Sharing purchased files is generally illegal without permission, but remember that the Silkroad online files are not your property but that of Joymax, and as such, you have no rights to them, regardless of any modifications you make, and no legal recourse. You are already breaking the law by possessing Joymax's files, which are protected by copyright.

It's not just about sharing work, but it's also illegal to sell files that belong to a company that owns the copyright. That's illegal profiteering.

I don't actually take anything from the filter or its price.

It's available; someone posted it on the Srocave website.

Find out who posted it and hold them accountable.
