SRO rant
This is a super short rant on how SRO is boring. It sucks, the community sucks. The game sucks. The people sucks. The game system sucks. Joymax sucks.
I only write this cause I'm bored and very curious on how people still play this game.

unfortunately the game is VERY addictive due to its massive possibilities to entertain the players. the alchemy is a pure gambling thing (that's why turks love sro), pvp is pretty balanced as well, the variety of the item drops is pretty big as well. I'd say no other game has such variety in item proprieties then silkroad online.
and farming for sos-gear of course.
Playing in servers like MySro has become a single-player thing, but I'm ok with it since I'm botting all the time anyway.
besides that i've never seen a server with so many server-sided things like sro. almost every single function is double-checked by the server. in other words: it's not possible to cheat at all.
only the basic things on private servers that weren't fixed yet like the multi-pet-spawn thing.
isro doesn't take much time until they fix the bad-***-bugs.
there are no cheat/hack methods on isro.
tell that of any other game that does 50% of the stuff through the client to un-stress the server

the one thing i like with isro now is diffusing alchemy material. I remember when i had to wait hours to diffuse everything -.-.

i wish sro was hackable like 2moons/dekaron. sp farming would be a breeze vacing and spamming nukes/ghost spear.

Why are some people on this forum after the freaking "Thanks" button so much? For crying out loud, it was there so people don't have to say "Thanks" in a post, and avoid cluttering the thread. There's been many heated debates about how they ban people on the Alaplaya forums for a while now because a lot of people are all pissed off at the Godmoders and Speed hackers (aka Obvious hackers) for just being able to make new accounts and do it all over again.
Now I personally agree that if you're caught hacking it should be an immediate IP+Mac ban along with the account, though both of those are easy to change. The majority of the people who are caught hacking are caught purely because...
