An IT Specialist - system integration get ~ 60.000,- EUR the year.
60.000 / 12 = 5000,- EUR every month means ~ 155,- / hour
If you are in my age you will get 2300,- EUR -3000,- EUR.
Database Administrators (the requested job here) get ~ 72.000,- EUR the year.
72.000 / 12 = 6.000,- EUR every month means ~ 185,- EUR / hour
and BTW this 2.000,- EUR wasnt for development only it was the total budget he should bring
The Website wich is currently in development for Sylvanes cost for example 4.000,- EUR (design isnt included)

*Clap clap* Now seriously... You did not understand it at all I see.
The difference here is clearly, you're building something based on already released Files.
I do not think so that People of " these" Jobs are using the Work of others just to cash in Money for their Company.
Get Real, this is ripping off the Money out of a Guy's Pocket.
Btw. not sure where you get these Numbers but 155 € / Hour is unlikely even if you have studied.
9 Hour's a Day = 1395€ if you get 155€ / an Hour.
The next Day it is 2790€. Guess where I'm going with that? Mathematic doesn't seem to fit you.
Stop bullshitting and get out of your Dream World, you have been stuck too long into the so called "SRO Scene".
Building Databases for a Company Which IS not a Gaming Company is a different Story.
As example, a Delivery Company, you have to setup a Database regarding the Tracking Numbers, the Labels, Dangerous Goods and other things.
Notice the difference? This is a different Workfield and has nothing to do with turning Numbers from 0 to 1 or importing/executing some Queries.
Kids these Days call themselves "Professional Database Editors", well believe that until you have a Real Job with that Knowledge... Kids

Tbh, couldn't be more on point.
I'm studying Computer Science Engineering, and most of the people in here think that the worlds programming is akin to silkroad programming...
Welp, let me tell you, if you code for a company as you code for Silkroad, you gonna have big troubles finding a company that will take you.
Creating everything from scratch is way harder then modifieing or using things that already exist.
So yeah, that would be a job for like < 1000€ and I'm being generous, because you are ripping someone off to set up a server basically.

1st) yes, you are right i forgot a divisor on my hour calculation
is 31,25 EUR and 37,50 EUR (40 hours per week for 4 weeks)
actually this isnt a huge mathematical problem (add the missing divisor and you are fine)
5000 / 4 / 8 = 156,25
5000 / 4 / 8 / 5 = 31,25
2nd) "I do not think so that People of " these" Jobs are using the Work of others just to cash in Money for their Company"
So, you think Develops for Windows for example get a share percentage of the profit of sold Windows? No they dont, they have an contract with a value of the hourly wage and thats it.
And about the part "take stuff from others" so you expect that every developer develop his own Windows for example and in the end Microsoft rates whats the best Windows
No, they work on a basesystem (Windows 8.1 for Windows 10) and it doenst matter how many times this Windows is sold they get a static value (depending on the hours they worked)
so it doenst change the fact if i work 1 hours for server xyz or 1 hour for my company i want the same hourly wage

negotiating prices?
my hourly wage is 25,- EUR for development in Silkroad and i dont negotiate here about that.
how i said 2000€ is the total budget he should bring

Well, if you take a look into joymax procedures you will see that creating it from scratch is way easier then modify it and i did that tons of time one of them is released
And sure i am not a C# developer yet (learning C# when i got some free time)
but i am able to build the complete Silkroad Database from scratch based on the silkroad binaries without src (this is what i did with 274 to clean it up and for JSRO to make it working)
so if you have no clue about my done projects yet you better shutup and dont judge about my job life
and btw the whole development wont be <1000,- EUR maybe if a egypt kiddo (or jobless guy) do that job who doenst know what 2 do the whole day because nobody request his services

who cares about these files?
i would even prefer jsro files compared to this files
and jsro files are cap 90
ECSRO > JSRO > BR 100 > BR 110 > VSRO 188 > VSRO 193 > TWSRO > VSRO 274 > CSRO-R > ISRO
thats the timeline of the serverfiles
ECSRO = no euros and debuffs
JSRO= perfect for oldschool servers
BR 100 / 110 = useless because the update function is buggy
VSRO 188 = pretty good because a bot is out
VSRO 193 = 188 + new job system (so it is in my opinion better then 188)
TWSRO = old framework doenst support D12 otherwise they would be pretty nice
VSRO 274 = just perfect, old item mall, old skill system, new job system, crafting system, new community update, stable as fck
CSRO-R = fcked up china skill system, fcked up item mall, uncompleted, unstable, mixed serverfiles
ISRO / KSRO = way more ****** features gaymax added (the only interesting feature there would be the additional functions to reverse scrolls the rest is **** or can be rebuild)
so you see now why i prefer 274?

I mean, you seriously think you are going to use SQL to build whole programs?
Sure, modifying something is easier with the source code, now I'd love to see you come up with the Source code.
I'd love to see you programing algorythms, network features, and so on.
Come up with UML's (for object-oriented languages), using modern design patterns, and so on.
I could stay up all night writing reasons why being a 'silkroad 1337 developer' won't make any company pick you up.
All you've said in your argument is that you can do SQL, which, is a language based upon relacional algebra.
Actually, you said that you can't even do C#. I'm not gonna even talk about pure C or C++, which are way more complicated.
Having said that, you should know that if you work for a company, you won't even get near 1000€ for 1 project you are in lol.
Also, I just stated my opinion on what you said about programmers in general. I never did under-value your job or said that you couldn't code SQL or re-create silkroad databases.
Anyways, if you have any doubt, or wanna learn some C,C# or C++, I'm always here to teach.
I didn't want to sound like a 'knows it all guy', I think our community needs to unite, if we want to progress.
Someday Silkroad will completely die, because everyone is separated.
That's my opinion tho.

Well, i can learn petty fast new languages if you wanna see my patcher src for example (wich was my 1st c# application and i learned everything within a few hours)
to increase my C# knowledge i hired some1 to code a module based packetfilter for me (so i can start with modues and dont have to code and understand the whole packetfilter now)
fakt is: i am that good in SQL because i have stuff to do here.
about C#, i dont wanna use any released program src i dont understand and i also dont wanna "waste my time" with reading books and so on i prefer "learning by doing"
about your teach offer: thanks but i really dont need it i have an german friend with do c# since 5 years same goes for a french friend.
but the most advanced person here in c# if my italian friend hes active in the .net framework since 14 years already (have nothing to do with silkroad)
he already coded his own engine and own video games they arent AAA titles but still pretty nice
so, contacts arent the problem the problem is the motivation wich i simply dont have if there is no target.
