How to add new skills (media side)?

Hello guys ~

I have a problem. I want to add a new skill to my server. The DB side works fine. But somehow I don't get the skill to show up in the client. It looks like this:



Can somebody please tell me how to edit the media.pk2 correctly for the skill to show up instead of the black box?

Something is wrong in Skilldata%enc.txt (_RefSkill @DB)

-Make sure you are editing skilldataENC_xxxx and not skilldata_xxxx
-Make sure you placed the skill in the right skill tree, row, and column.

Thank you very much, I got it to work now. Seems the script I used for encrypting was broken. I got another tool and now it works.

But I have another problem: can someone tell me how I can get rid of the "used weapon" text? I want the skill not to need any weapon. I deleted both weapons, but where can I diable the text "Used weapon: ,"?

Deleting the id of the weapon is not the only thing, you need to edit the param of the effect aswell which seemingly u did not, the param is usually the number before the weapon id, for example lets say param 5555 makes a skill usable for a certain weapon, it would be 5555 and spear id (lets say 6) so 5555 6. Make sure you edit 5555 to 0 aswell and not just the 6

The solution was: We set a "0" for required weapon where it was supposed to be a "255". Thank you everyone!
