I've been playing for 6 months in this server (on cap 110 also).

My experience here from the gameplay, its ok but not original, there is much lag.
Furthermore the communication from the GM is not good. He is "testing" things into the "production" server, and as matter of fact he never make backups. This is what went very clear with the OVH fire. This GM is not capable of owning a private server. Is there a bug? Then he wont fix it. If he does, it will take some months for a simple bug. Christmas trees? Will be there the whole year. Suggestions? He says that he will consider them, but will never apply them. All he does are simply promises. What i also experienced is that when we "the players" got hyped cuz of a "big update" was coming, the day of the update it seems there has been only some avatars added. Promised was that the job system wouldve taken care of for more activity, but nah. The priorities of this GM are simply not good. There has also been corruption. There are FTW where screenshots has been made from people using a +250 weapon. (max is +14). I would never ever play a server from this "hobbyGM".

Best cap 110 server? Nah. Not even close. This server and his staff is seriously a joke.

that include the gm and staff
instead of being supportive as they should they'd be banning you for reports so you won't be reporting and spreading negativity as they claim
their developer has the mind of pigeon he couldn't do a decent back up to the server that burnt during OVH fire accident.
basically the staff are arrogant and ignorrants.
you'll just waste your money and time.
you'll have lame 24/7 lagging server.
that's the real truth that the others who came for 100 silk comment won't say.
don't play it doesn't worth a 1min of your time.

review of retro sro after playing here for 2 weeks:

short version:
- corrupt GM who cannot speak english
- inflated prices most likely because he is giving away an insane amount of silks for egy players
- insane pay2win
- he was planning to reopen a long-time ago and the recent OVH-fire is the perfect excuse for him
- 99% egy players who most likely play here just cuz they get free stuff from the GM


Lets go point by point:

1, corrupt GM

website prices are not accurate at all, if you send to his private paypal you will get extra silks. On top of this if you buy large amount he will give you a private deal.





also the GM cannot speak english and there is literally no support around to answer your questions

2, inflated prices + insane pay2win

an average LA+14 set (which is endgear and tradeable) is around 60k silk, +14 EU accessory set 90k silk, +14 egy EU shield 60k silks

keep in mind on the server there is approximately 100 maxed chars. So how come the prices are so high? Well its either one of two things: either there is a lot of crazy donators who regularly donate 1k$$+ or the GM is giving away free silk to players.

and yes you can donate for a maxed char (around 1k$) you dont have to farm shit if you dont want to all endgame items are tradeable

not much to add to this point it was his plan all along to open a 2nd server

4, 99% arab/egy players

there is pretty much no international guild on this server besides evo

One last thing, as you might have seen Savi claims he does not have any backup, non whatsoever.

When asked how he is going to refund someone who just donated 800$ last week he answers in extremely vague fashion pretty much stating that its your problem. Nevermind he just promised a week ago that the server wont close at least for 3 years.
