As I see people express their opinions, I want to add mine also
Its my first season in Electus and also Im not regular silkroad player (played silkroad long time ago and have tried only 2 private silkroad servers after) so my view can be different from most players.
Is server pay2win? Until now, when moon came out, definitely. The higher stack, the better you are. As moon came out, situation get a bit better, as grinders get their moon wep and catch a bit (still donaters upgrade their SOE to moon and have now +10, +11 moon weapons). As more moon items will be unlocked I think donaters and grinders will be closer and closer. (Still, you can get immortals for silk only (as far as I know) so its always in favor to donaters, but thats just how silkroad always was.)
I also wanted to touch a point about EP, "
that is not tradable and everyone need to farm them". Yea, its true, but its still hundred times easier if you have best shit in server and you easily farm weekly limits in survival, CTF, BA, FW, uniques and job kills. So you donate or grind hardcore.
Another point that admins like to say to make server look more play2win "
We are giving away XXX free silk per month". Yea, cool, but most off that silk goes from uniques, which is mostly killed by same donators as their best in server.
So whats your life as not donator, simple guy that plays silkroad after work for 2-4hours per day and dont have time for harcore grinding? Nothing special, you are low tier (or mid tier if you get lucky with drops from boxes) with NPC or SOS set, NPC or SOS wep, working on daily tasks day by day and trying to upgrade what you have, also believing one day get lucky enough to make big step to next tier. So Ill make more indept review about activities as low tier, also its kind of a guide for new players as they automatically will be low tier also.
Daily tasks:

Godsend Dungeon - you need to do this every day to get daily skillpoints and can max you godsend skills. As a low tier player its sometimes challenging to find a party for that, if you str char and have no force it can be even more difficult. So you trying to find pt of similar players like you that nobody wants

FGW - you need to do this, cuz its your way out of low tier if you be lucky enough and get commander patch, you can try make SOE weapon or just sell it for some silk. You can try find party for 3* FGW, but it probably be even harder than GS, so just dont waste you time and go for 1*. Also you can do FGW evey 7 hours, so on weekends or when you have more time you can do this multiple times.

Daily quests at Job Cave - it was a possibility to make additional 2,5m SP and get daily lamp(that has slight chance to get SOA or Elite box). But now when its cost 40m to enter its not for you. You can try if you feel really lucky, but you probably be killed and then you need to pay another 40m or use reverse scroll which costs sillk. Keep in mind that you can die 5-10 times while doing quest, and reward not that good, so not worth it.
That pretty much all if you play 2-4h daily, If you have a bit more time after this activities, you go some CTF, BA and PVP. If you have more time:

Trading - it is your main source of gold, also you get EP for that. To make your daily limit you need more than 2h of trading, I trade only on weekends when I have a bit more time, the gold you make be enough for all week daily tasks.
Activities:

CTF - as a low tier most of the time you be dead
But it depends what team and other players you get. You probably get 1-3kills and sometimes its quite fun.

Battle Arena - similar as CTF, can get some kills and have a bit fun.

Survival - more suffering than other activities, cuz there will be elite players that pretty mutch can one hit you even if you full str. You will probably find someone of your league or nuker without snowshield, or ks some kills, but most of the time you will die. Most low tier players go there just for EP, to get your 2-6kills, not mutch fun.

Battle Royale - should be fun for low tier players, cuz there start everyone as equal. Tried only once, just because battle royale runs twice a day and start time not in my plaing time window, so cant say mutch about it. The one time I played not really understanded how to play this mode and was killed fast.

Jobbing - as a low tier player you join traders and only go with big caravan. If you fall behind, you will get killed. More of a job and way to make money.

Uniques - forget about it, as a low tier player you pretty mutch dont even have a chance.

PVP - the one thing I love. And not only me, at dw gates you mostly find low or mid tier players going pvp, so its the main source of fun for low tier players
You just need to find right time for that, cuz sometimes can be quite empty.

Fortress War - too masive, and you find yourself dead or running from someone most of the time, depends on your guild and union, but most of the time youll feel useless.
Sunday - Funday activities:

Unique Event at DW South - if you dont have good pt, and you as low tier player probably dont
- just waste of time, youll get nothing from this.

Unique Event at Whole Map - when season first sunday-funday happened and was a bit different, I think cuz Unique Event at Whole Map was at same time as Roc Spawn and some Uniques was still at DW South. It was fun because while elite player go for dw south uniques and Roc, low tier players can find uniques all over the map and have chance to kill some. Also can be there was more uniques, cuz it was only unique event when I saw multiple uniques by running around, but now most of time I cant find nothing. I can be wrong but I think now Unique Events goes as phases and same player take uniques at dw south and hunt all over the map.

Search N Destroy Event and Hide N Seek Event - maybe others know where to search, but somehow this event end really fast.

Roc Spawn - event for elite players.

PVP Tournament - I watched first PVP tournament, but one thing make this event not interesting at all. Donators change their build to full str one, just for this event... Change stats, skills and weapon, WTF is this, sorry, but that ruined this event for me. I understand that some builds better in PVP than others, but that is the point, one build good for jobbing, other for PVP and so on. If I watch pvp event I want to see players rocking their builds... Now these guys all week going as nuker and on pvp event going as full str glavie... Useless event to same guys to show off.
I just said how everything looks from other perspective. And Im not hating, Im ok where Im at, there always be low and mid tear, not everyone can be best
Some have more free time to play, some less, some have more money to donate, some less, its ok as far as you get some fun from game
And I have,
enjoing silkroad and Electus. I know its hard to balance that, its important make sure that gap between lows and tops not to big. And I understand you need always entertain elite players, so they have what to do, but just wanted to remind that players on the low side also exists and sometimes want to get some love also

It was waaaaay different in S3 and S4. They lost all my respect n support after last Sunday. I´m still there cuz of some Friends, when they quit i´ll quit too, my last Season forever.
