Today i was trying to turn off also this lightning sound after all these played years but you cant turn it off wich is realy sad cuz it is realy so loud.Only way how to turn them of is trough pk2 tool.Create 3 files called lightning1.wav, lightning2.wav and lightning3.wav, additionally, if you want to delete also the rain sound, create a file called rain1.wav.
Open any pk2 tools (preferably Joymax ones), open the Data.pk2 with them, and move to the directory prim/snd/etc, and place the empty .wav files you just created there, rewriting the existing ones. Close the pk2, start the game and enjoy the silent storms.

I muted client from audio mixer and worked fine. It was indeed making that ****** sound all the time.

Wondering if anyone else gets random DCs / crashes in town though.

It will help gold get rarer, stimulate job trade, thiefl.
1 mil gold = 1k sp, That will help reduce the amount of gold in the server .
