I have to talk about something because it has been bothering me. After seeing all the hate in this thread and lastthief's replies, it made me think about something.
LastThief, you claim to have re-written everything and basically making this server from scratch. Why? Why wouldn't you go for something new and exciting seeing that you start from 0 anyways? Why do the same thing like your previous project?Was it because it was a succsesful server and you were hoping this one will be too?Because, frankly, it doesn't make any sense. Starting from "0" on a project that looks exactly like your old one instead of just using your old one doesn't seem productive, just waste of time in my eyes.
You could have used Elamidas database and worked on balancing things out and improving it even more, certain aspects of Elamidas were not as good so you could have worked on them and made them much better. You might say that Elamidas was not only your work so you can't use other people's work to make money but to be honest had you asked elamidas's team for permission, I doubt someone would have disagreed with it.
Also something that I find interesting is the absence of Akasch. He pretty much disappeared for few months and just came back to let people know that this is indeed LastThief and only LastThief's project and has nothing to do with Elamidas 2(which could happen in the future, like he said.) Don't you think it's a bit...weird?It makes you feel like as if Electus is a server with the only intention of making money to prepare for the "big plans"....
For those wondering why a lot of people seem disappointed it's because they have waited for this server for quite some time now and all the features listed here seem average and nothing new. Nothing to make all the waiting "worth it"
