server files on linux server
and mssql on windows server
and connect by network ips
like linux ip 192.168.0.2
and windows ip 192.168.0.3

so we can connect server files to sql server on other machine so we can setup files on linux server and sql on windows server ........

that's for more safe and stable

only noobs use server applications on wanna-be-cool operating systems like windows xp professional or windows 7 ultimate

put the server in a server room and not in a trashcan!

i have a windows 7 32bit and.. jejeje TQ dont work.. gameserver get runtime error jejeje.. and some uniques dont appear .

Why would you ever emulate a server that was done for windows in *unix?
Even guy from zelosonline.com that pretend to run it on freebsd use a windows machine to host server

109.236.87.217 is responding on port 139 (netbios-ssn).
109.236.87.217 is responding on port 445 (microsoft-ds)

IMO. Best OS to run this is 2003

I should have used sarcasm tags when I posted that.

The only OS you can run these files on is windows. Using any other operating system is just plainly retarded. I would advice running it on windows 2k8 since running 2003 will make it much harder to harden your servers.

However, there are some parts of the files you can actually run on other operating systems, it's all a matter of finding the right balance (eg. guild emblem FTPd)

hi i buyed hosting and all os is linux . I readed posts and finded what i can run server on Centos ? i need guide how to becouse our hosting have Centos os
