gold drop is not always the same
for example:

level 1 mobs drop gold 28 to 59
not more than 59 and never less than 28
and in between its random

The first number, in this case

1

Is the level of the monster..
The second number, in this case

28

Is the minimum gold it will drop..
And the third number, in this case

59

Is the maximum gold it will drop.

It goes up to lvl 140 because the maximum level of monsters will eventually be lvl 140. and theres obviously a pattern in the gold drops so they obviously found it out
