It's actually very simple, you only need to start the Pk2Editor - click on File, open your Media.pk2 - and choose the third option to import files.
- Select File the picture, button whatever you want to import.
- Entry Name: bg_5.dat (for example here, importing a new Layout)
- Entry Path: \launcher_europe (Where the .dat file is normally located in)
- Click on Import
- File -> Close
- Run your launcher to see if it was successfully
