Taking over a guild.

Hello,

I recently started playing isro again, (after a pause of ~2 years), when i logged in i noticed i was still in a guild. Well, the guild is dead - the logged in time states - around 2009 for any member there.

I noticed an option at the "Guild dude", - Vote for a leader, but by pressing that option it says - Elections cannot be called during this period.

So my question is - would it be possible for me take over this guild?

edit: oh and the guild is the lead guild of a union.

thanks.
