[Discussion] New official sro-r server cap 90 coming to europe.

I think they should start fresh, Lvl 70 cap, only cosmetics and some immo stones in Item mall, and simply let people get into the game from the start, keep the limitation of exp gained, but dont let item mall **** extend the duration of exp, maybe some quests or some job quests that help you extend the experience you are able to farm on daily basis.

Im 100% sure it will bring whole alot of players back from all the scattered pservers out there, were talking tens of thousands of players here.
But of course this isnt going to happen, as if they care.
they'd rather make a complete p2w experience, attract 5-20% of the possible player base who will swipe their credit card just to win in the game all day.

I agree, they should have started from an earlier cap and patched the game the way they did before.

You'll need to purchase 300 silk a month just to level up, that will give you Prem+ and VIP lvl 2 which is 24/7 100% XP.

I think the server will reach 2500-3000 players, if you look on Rev6 all the iSRO servers stay full, SRO-R servers stay around 3000 / 3500.

I suppose this is because you're thinking about botting. If you don't bot, you really won't need vip level 2, as you can't play 24/7 anyway.

And to be honest, you don't need a bot at 90 cap

With the Silkroad-r system, you reach 70 quickly and 70-90 doesn't take too long either.

If you're really into spending money you can spend $40 and have VIP tier 2 for 3 months, but yea it is easy to level up.

Gearing won't be an issue either with fgw and daily quest, just enchanting might be as for that u kinda need to bot, unless they do something about it.

agree. it should be impossible to be able to 24/7 for exp, it will give people incentive to participate in different activities, like pvp, jobbing, quests, minigames, etc.. and of course... why would you let 24/7 unless you support botting.

You were almost right. I don't intend to bot day 1, I'll wait and see how hard they drop the ban hammer first.

I'm looking to bot in the later levels for alchemy materials. SRO-R's system is pretty good for leveling and gives plenty of SP in quests.

I'm also not making a EU character, so most of the time I'll be solo grinding anyways.
If I'm going to play here I'll probably be VIP 3 for the first month and VIP 1-2 the rest of the time since I'll buy a few months worth of silk at the start.

Decided which build you'll be going with yet? I'm going either s/s nuker pure int, or pure strength archer. Haven't decided fully yet.

I'll likely create a spear, I'm unsure on build.

Right now it's between:
pure int - 17,560 HP / 116% mag
hybrid int- 20,007 HP / 107% mag

Have you played Silkroad-R before?

The old "Force" is now called Recovery, and Force consists of Fire, Light and Cold. If you want to have bow skills and ress and healing (the recovery skill tree), you can't have fire, light, nor cold. So the build you're considering isn't really possible. I mean, without fire, light, or cold a str archer will be weak.

So what character picks force? Elemental nuker is the only thing that could then I assume, otherwise the build is garbo lel, I did play sro-r but can't remember it honestly.

$30 for 1 month, $100 for 3 months(I just rechecked the VIP table because I was feeling really stupid about saying $40), but the thing about VIP is not only about charging the silks, it's about SPENDING them, so you have to spend silk worth that amount in order to get the VIP.

And about your skill build, you can't get force like before on SRO-R setup, because the mastery is 180 for CH(at 90 Cap) and once you level up Force(Cold+Light+Fire) that's it, the old force is called Recovery where you have the debuffs, heals, res etc.

And yes, an elemental nuker would be the only build. I've considered going Force/Recovery on a pure int s/s nuker. It'll be extremely good at PVE, and then at cap I can always re-skill (it'll take a lot of time, of course. But certainly possible).
