I found a program that can convert 3DO files to a lot of other formats. It's not free, but if you search google you should find cracked version.

There's another way though. Some time ago I saw a post on how to extract information from 3DO files manually. There was description where you can find values responsible for vertexes and other things. If I find it I will post the link here. That could be useful for someone with good programming skills. To create two way converter.

If anyone has information on how to open the 3DO Files would be greatly appreciated, I have done some searching and it seems these 3DO Files are old and supported by few if any programs. I have tried Blenders to break them down, Changing file extension, 3DS Max does not open them most i could get out of them was a wire 2d image =/

Check my guide. I added information how you can edit or at least view 3DO/3DC files.

As for the "dudeofthecountry's" tutorial about editing Update.exe file, I decided not to include it in my guide. It's about Shaiya configuration, not how to set up own server. If I start adding other tutorials like that I end up with 10MB file of random information.

- in the orange stat section HP/MP/SP can be maximum 9900 not 99000 when you set the value to 99.

Some info for this: "How to become AoL on UoF side and vice versa"

There is a simpler way to do it:
You can get the same effect with changing the Family value in dbo.Chars.

For this you should know the family/job pairs (for example: human can be fighter, defender, priest; etc)

Family values:

• 0 - human
• 1 - elf
• 2 - vail
• 3 - deatheater

Job values:

• 0 - fighter/warrior
• 1 - defender/guardian
• 2 - ranger/assassin
• 3 - archer/hunter
• 4 - mage/pagan
• 5 - priest/oracle

So if you have an AoL fighter (family=0 and Job=0) and you want to change him to a deatheater warrior:
- you need to change the Family to 3.
And it is done.

I don't know. I think you'd have to create a duplicate of that item for it to work.
