[Limited Release] Name/Guild Color Changes

Hello Elitepvpers Shaiya community here is my recent client edits to the server im in Development in...

I will not release how but i will credit the original founder of this and his methods

What you will need

1. Hex editor
2. Game.exe from shaiya version 5.3 ( you can use any but i only worked on the 5.3 client
3. HTML color chart found here

4. Alot of patience
5. Backup copies of your client

I did a bit of testing earlier and found that the format is BGRA (Blue, Green, Red, Alpha) - Just note, that changing of the Alpha setting does really nothing noticeable.

Also, the code above is for the name above your head only, to change the one in the HP bar, you need to do this.
Change from:

Change to:

84 C0 74 0A BF FF A8 00 FF

Now as you can see this was a while ago so i the values have changed from this version to 5.3 which is where i did my edits.

Code:

C7 44 24 14 FF 00 00 FF

This is very close to what i it is.

The color portion of this line is

Code:

FF 00 00 FF

The first 3 values are the color but reversed... Instead of rgb it is bgr... the last value is the alpha value that doesnt matter if you change it...

So if you were looking for white( aka same faction or guild name color) you would be looking for this set of values

FF FF FF FF

This set of values come into play alot... so thats why you need to find the first portion which is

Code:

C7 44 24 14

These values will not work for the 5.3 client they are different but not by much...

So now that you have the setups to do this here is some of the things ive done with this

Same Faction =Red

Same Faction = Green

GM Color = Green, Same Faction = Red

Same Faction = Red, GM Color = Lite Blue

Same Faction = Red, GM Color = Orange

Oposite Faction = Yellow, Same Faction = Red

Opposite Faction = Purple, Same Faction = Red, GM Color - Lite Blue

Finished

Gm color = Lite Blue, Same Faction = red, Opposite faction = Purple, Regular guild member = Yellow, Guild Leader = Light Blue

The addresses may be different, but yes it will work.

I had recently done a color edit for a close friend to change GM names to White, as to allow an admin to to blend with the players a bit better when trying to be present, but hidden to the eyes. These edits were done for EP4.

Is it possible to change the color for a group of GS?

GS is just a string that you add at the beginning of the name of a character, by simply adding "[GS]", so, to make a change on the color of their names, it would be needed to change their status on the database, so that they can be recognized easily through the database, as trying to get them to be changed just by searching

You would need to check exactly how is that GM name color works, if you see, the difference between a GM/Admin and any other player is that they have Status 16; and if you know, the status can be changed in order to provide access to different commands in-game, said this, if you provide this difference (on a smart way due to the rights you are providing to the account) you will be able to find out how to find the GSs in game to be able to change their color on the name, yet, it will affect every character they have on that account.

Hmm , The Site ,

In site there are some codes and we need to paste them at first of the code or last? I meant like Suppose :
C7 44 24 14 FF 00 00 FF ==> FIND THIS
FF4848 --> Code for red
And where should i paste FF4848?

Color Format of game.exe is BGRA but when you check site it is RGBA so you have to change it to BGRA

All you have to do is replacing FF 00 00 FF with 48 48 FF FF to get your color.Open game.exe with HxD > Search for C7 44 24 14 FF 00 00 FF then edit " FF 00 00 FF" the last FF is alpha, it is better if you dont touch to it.

Well yes you can:

Give to [GS] the Admin Level: 255 Status 64 and try to edit the status 64 to dont have any access to any command and be used as a normal player and there will be changed just the player name colour !
Into the OS is the same [GS] have Orange colour now !
