gamewar has nothing to do with server connecting error..its for linked servers ONLY...danes i belive the reason you cant connect is because on your "game" service under "Public IP" the IP is still 127.0.0.1...chage this to your ip address, make sure all ur ini files have your ip address in too and try again.

ok thanks for the answers, i had to do some trial and error to get it running, but now after 2 or 3 minutes in game it disconnects with error 87, any ideas??

it says copy the shaiya test server to that location do i need to download a episode and put it there?

Well I made a mistake and had to reinstall the SHAIYA_SERVER files, but every time i put "/nprotectoff" I get the error console command write then it goes back to pause. Checked my .ini so now at this point not quite sure what I am doing wrong.

You need to check your log folder: "PSM_Client/Bin/Log" Delete all files in here, then start all service. New files will appear there, read game and it should display your error. In theory when you put in /nprotectoff, the game is already in pause mode, its just that it takes a few sec to display it. So first read game.

Also i'm guessing you haven't run config.sql in your batch folder, that's the most common thing ppl forget to do. To do this open MSSQL and connect to Server Authentication and open config.sql then press execute.

OK so I did all that, etc and still gave me the same command. Last time when I set my server up, I never had to go to the config.sql just modify my SQL configuration make sure the ports were open etc etc and it ran fine. Here is my log for Game.ini

*note* I do not have a spare drive to Subst C and so I only ran the .bat to get the SPC up. So in other words I manually attached my database files to get the game going and it worked just fine. Unfortunately when I go to SHAIYA_SERVER\DATABASE there is nothing in it, due to the fact that the Install_Server.bat did not fully functionally install correctly.

i get to the start all section and when i start it they all get the green arrow but then starting with session they repause FTW help plz -.-

That's a hole lot of error Sin, I don't even know where to start... first of all run the config.sql... not config.ini... the config.sql, execute it, second you need to update your map.ini and obelisk.ini and make sure you have kr_string.DB and tw_string.DB in your data folder, start with this, then delete your log and start all service, then you will have new files with less or other errors.

Heres something encouraging "Loaded Behavior in Factory" is normal just ignore those.

Hi there. Bashing my head against a wall for a few days now. I have read all the posts on this thread and still seem to come to a dead end.

My main problem is with the session service not starting and then all the other arrows revert back to pause.

This is your problem FU8 your gamedef DB in SQL is failing to connect...and for the life of me i cant remember how to fix it xD

If i'm not mistaken, you need to update your data files to the same version of your DB. So go in PSM_Client/Bin/Data and update NPCQuest.Sdata, KillStatus.Sdata, Obelisk.ini, Mob.ini, Kr_string.DB and tw_string.DB, also make sure your .ini files are up to date such as itemcreate, itemenchant, SequenceItemCreate and map.ini is up to date as well for your Map folder.

But from your errors i'm pretty sure its your Obelisk.ini but you should check all of them and make sure its all the right versions

hey i done everything now just one thing left when i start the server discount after 2 min

i typed /nprotectoff
but i get an error :

If you get "error cmd not found" its because your game is paused, or will be within 2 - 3 seconds... Look at you Log files to see what goes wrong....
