Nice observation. Yes, it is the same domain and facebook page. No, it is not a re-opening.

Shaiya II was a concept, a experiment. As the name suggested, it was meant to a sequel to the original game. What we discovered quite quickly is that the playerbase is not quite ready for something different yet and easily gets confused when faced with something different other than linear progression or instant servers.

Since the closure, we sat down with our community and worked on a new project, with the communities ideas in mind. The same project is now before you.

Instead of changing the gameplay, we sticked to the original and our main goal is to relive the experience most of us had in OS EP5.

What else is there to say other than "See for yourself"?

We experienced an unexpected hiccup that occured due to a last-minute edit we had to make. It was our mistake for going live without thoroughly testing all features that we considered working.

However, we are now back better than ever.

You have to download the new client. I had the same problem with my old client
