Dear Shaiya players
these rules shall help us all to experience pleasant gaming in Shaiya. To Ensure a smooth get-together every player needs to stick to the following rules.
General rules
Do not use any offensive, illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive, vulgar sexist, obscene, hateful, racist, ethnical or other questionable as speech and names.
Insults are not allowed in our game. This includes any form of harassment, defamation, incitement and the like. Self-censorship, such as 'A ****' or' you %&§!', does not protect you from punishment. Fomenation against guilds and individual players is therefore prohibited. We wish to have a decent tone with each other.
Insulting staff members examined as game masters (GM) and game sages (GS) will result in temporary and permanent bans from the game, Depending on the severity of the offense.
Denunciation are neither allowed nor tolerated in our game. If you have a problem with guilds or individual players please contact the support team with a ticket that contains all relevant information.
Be friendly and polite towards other players, do not affront or insult them.
Threatening and blackmailing other players is not tolerated. ticket If you believe somebody does not stick to the server rules please address this to the support team via.
Please be friendly towards beginners in the game. All of us knew hardly anything about when we started playing Shaiya. Treat every player like you would want to be treated yourself.
Ingame Chat
Repeatedly posting the same message in the ingame chat channels is considered spamming And Therefore forbidden. Posting links or refrerences with no relation to Shaiya is therefore prohibited. You must therefore not ask for cheats, hacks, bugs, exploits or bots.
Furthermore writing with CAPS LOCK activated is undesirable in the chats.
Grief-Play (undesired interference of other player's gameplay)
Other players must not intentionally be disturbed by one's own playing style. In contrast to the general rules of conduct, this rule is related to the application of game methods Which may present to extreme disruption of gameplay or harassment to other players. This may include "training" (attracting monsters on other characters Intending them to be killed by these mobs) or distracting a boss enemy who is in battle with others to make him loose focus and regain full health points.
These rules affect not Thurs Exclusively PvP-related matters, eg Repeatedly killing the same opponent in PvP is not considered Grief-play (this statement, however, is otherwise restricted, please see "Exploiting / Utilizing the Game Mechanics"
Impersonating GMs and GSS is prohibited. Excuses like "I was just kidding" are no no apology.
Exploits
The exploitation of bugs is not allowed. This destroys both fun and game. If you stumble over an error in the game please get in contact with our German support team.

Exploiting / Utilizing the Game Mechanics
The game mechanics and its possible vulnerabilities must not be used for actions aside the intended purpose. This Applies to massive PvP kill-farming agreements between opponents (stats Padding, Kills) and all other activities to gain unfair advantages in the game and illegitimate.
Cheating & Bots

You also must not track, decipher or manipulate the network traffic between the server and the local Shaiya client.
Account Data
Every player is Solely responsible for his own game account. Make sure that no Unauthorised persons gain knowledge of your game account data. The support team will not recover any mischief caused by the propagation of game account data to any third party or by insufficient measures of security.
Disseminating the game account is not allowed, neither in return for payment nor for other rewards.
GM Help
GMs must not give items, gold or buffs to players. They will not keep items for players, will not help farming or let monsters and boss enemies spawn at a player's wish. It is prohibited transactions with GM's request and to invite them into parties or guilds.

Purchase / Sale of Virtual Items and Links to Third Party Services
Trading, offering and giving away of game accounts is undesirable, as well as begging for gold, items or level-groups in public chat channels. Violating this rule may lead to temporary or permanent exclusion from the game.
Bugs and errors in the game are to be reported to a GM or GS. Exploiting bugs is prohibited. Violating this rule may lead to temporary or permanent exclusion from the game.
Incitement
Inciting others to violate these rules may lead to permanent removal from the game.
Authorities
The staff of Aeria Games reserves all power of decision in cases of dispute, ambiguity and similar situations as well as the right, under certain circumstances, not to justify any decision that was made.
If you want to complain about a GM's or GS's decision or behavior please send a ticket to the German support team. Please keep your statements factual and avoid irony and sarcasm. Please describe the incident as neutral as possible, without evaluating it.
Remarks on Certain Topics
The following topics are not subject to our rules, they are under control of the game mechanics itself. We may decide, however, to intervene in cases of deliberate intent to exploit or game functions to interfere with other players by imposing GameAccount locks if necessary.
KillStealing
We all want to play without disruption. Please respect this and Do not steal other player's kills. Sometimes this may happen accidentally, for sure. A warrior approaches a monster while a mage casts a spell on the very same mob Talk about the situation reasonably to find a solution.
PvP Areas (Maps)
As soon as you enter areas where PvP is possible, your character is in risk of death. PvP areas (maps) are war zones, where the death of characters is omnipresent.
There are guards and towers to secure certain areas on these maps but they do not make them demilitarized zones (there are no fixed "Safe Zones").
The Shaiya Team manually places additional guards in certein areas on the maps to somewhat balance teleportation inside the PvP areas.
PvP areas (maps) in Shaiya are Proelium, Cantabilian, D-Water with both Dungeons (D1/D2), Glimmsande, Ivory Desert Stable Ground.
By entering a PvP area you accept these conditions.
