Dyndns for game.exe

hi everybody

i have some questions,
can i use dyndns to connect on my server ?
how can i put the dyndns in the game.exe (because the dyndns is much longer then the normal ip)

i have this problem because i havent a static ip

well u cant ...but u can make a patch of game.exe each time ur IP changes ... thet hapens wen u restart your PC .. so ul need to change the IP in game.exe and make a patch file each time ur IP changes ... its the only way ..
For the patch of game.exe ..well thets easy
i sugest u to use WinRar.
Right click on game.exe ->add to arhive and change the extension of the file from .rar to .patch and u have a patch of game.exe.

If your server is public I would suggest either getting a dedicated server or use the Hamachi network (which is really insecure) to override this, because a dyndns doesn't fit with the size of an IP address

Just a warning: Don't use .rar format if you are trying to patch with other files otherwise you will get RunTime error. Use .Zip format instead.

hmm or is there a service like dyndns but i get a ip and not a domain so i can use this ip wich get ,like dyndns, my ip ?

The Game.exe read only ip adress not a host name. So i don't think it is possible. At least what i've tried.

Start -> Run -> CMD and type
nslookup hostname

So for me:
nslookup netxot.com

and you will the IP adress.

Use google search sometime.

-.- if i type" nslookup ......dyndns.org i get my ip. thats not what i mean. i need an ip wich tracks to my router ip. so insteat of .......dyndns.org i need an ip like 845.96.15.15. and mean not my router ip

You can't do that, because your dyndns.org IP is your router IP. The dyndns is just hiding your IP adress. You can't find diffrent IP from you dyndns host adress. It will never show diffrent IP adress. Only the IP from your router.
