Hello Epvp, I'm on here today looking for a buyer for A shaiya server, the goods are - ofcourse, the user data + user master + game defs, and all the scripts to make it run... I don't think it's right to simply sell someones userdata like this, you probably are going to want to informe your users and see how many of them want to have there data removed first...

fully agree with Bane, you can't just sell the ppls accounts, you should (if u can) give your ppl an option to delete their account or at least change their Passwords before you sell them...

This is probably the person I recently IP range banned for hacking 35+ accounts. I agree with everyone here, this person's post should actually be deleted.

No, I own my own server, and have been thinking of selling it to get out of the buiss. Seeing offers, and will gladly give more info to those who pm me.

You must understand the fact that trusting a member as new as your account is, is really hard, mostly if their first post ever is about a sale.

I have been receiving numerous emails and messages as of late on this matter, as we have just recently closed Absolution.

As I find the idea of selling such information with account info included to be extremely irresponsible, I would like to clarify that this is not an attempt by myself or any member of the former Absolution staff to sell off the info of former members, as many sending me messages seem to think.

The timing of Abso's closing and this thread is raising many question's, it seems. I mean not to comment off topic, but with the increasing number of inquiries on the matter that I have been receiving, it needs to be clarified.

ON TOPIC: I would highly recommend, as others already have, that if you are looking to sell server information, you do so without the character and account info in place. It is one thing to sell a server's structure, it is another to sell the server's information.

Honestly, even if this is a live server, and you are simply looking to sell off ownership, I would still advise all players to change their account info prior to sale follow-through. The member base's piece of mind when it comes to their security needs to be considered as well as all else, more so if the server is to stay online.
