Armada of the Dead
What is the “Armada of the Dead“ event?
The goal of this event is to send “The Merciless Admiral“ and his Armada of the Dead back to hell. They are transporting a lot of “Radiant Souls” and “Cursed Souls” on board their ships in order to generate energy for a hellish ritual. Collect as many of these souls as you can in order to stop this ritual from happening and get your hands on valuable items at the Black Market.
You can look forward to the following new game features:

* New special zones
* New quests
* Improved Soul Eater Ammo
Which NPCs will give me hell? (First phase/Second phase)
1. Vain Alphonse / Rotting Alphonse:
* Sails on all PvP maps
* Shootable with Gold and Elite Ammo
* Chance to get Soul Eater Ammo (Damage distribution)
2. Perfumed Odette / Putrid Odette:
* Sails on all PvP maps
* Shootable with Elite Ammo
* Chance to get Cursed Souls (Damage distribution)
and Level 2-5 gems (The most damage + last blow delivered)
3. Graceful Marcelle / Shambling Marcelle:
* Sails on all PvP maps
* Shootable with Elite Ammo
* Chance to get Radiant Souls (Damage distribution)
4. The Merciless Admiral / The Soulless Admiral:
* Sails on all PvP maps
* Shootable with Elite Ammo
* Chance to get Pearls (Damage distribution)
5. Fat Jaques / Bloated Jaques:
* Appears during battles with the Admiral
* Shootable with Gold and Elite Ammo
* Starting at a certain small amount of damage, every player will get the “Unstoppable“ item
What awaits you on the high seas?
A sea of battles! In the first phase of the event, you'll be challenged by the above-mentioned NPCs in their “living” form.
In the second phase of the event, the NPCs return from the afterlife and you will have to fight them as “undead” creatures. The NPCs are stronger in their “zombie form” since they have an extra vodoo shield, but the rewards are definitely much better.
In order to fight the Boss NPC (Merciless Admiral / Soulless Admiral), you must have first defeated a certain number of NPCs. Only once you have reached this number shall the Admiral appear to take vengeance for the death of this followers. If the Admiral is badly struck, he will call either Fat or Bloated Jaques to come to his aid.
But that is not all. This devious scoundrel will also generate an extra zone that will infect you with the plague and weaken you! As you know, the plague is an infectious disease, meaning every player who goes near somebody infected will also be infected immediately. You can however save yourself from the epidemic by using the action item “Unstoppable”.
Important:
In the second phase, the NPCs don't always transform into undead. There's a chance that they'll take on the form of a zombie, but no guarantee. In order to summon the Soulless Admiral, the only thing that matters is shooting down transformed NPCs.
Do the NPCs have weakenesses?
Not exactly. But you can inflict an extremely high amount of damage by using Soul Eater Ammo. As a matter of fact, the damage inflicted to Alphonse will also be increased if you use Gold ammo.
What other exciting things are there to discover?
Hidden treasures! Search and find event chests containing useful items for every buccaneer. To open the chests, all you need is the matching key which is available at the Black Market.

The Bat:
Raw Ruby (Lvl 5) 5% cannon damage
Raw Garnet (Lvl) 5 5% harpoon damage
Raw Lapis Lazuli (Lvl5) 25,000 HP
Chipped Sapphire (Lvl 2) 10,000 VP
The Snake:
Gleaming Ruby (Lvl 13) 13% cannon damage
Chiseled Rhodolite(Lvl 11) 11% boarding bonus
Gleaming Lapis Lazuli (Lvl 13) 65,000 HP
Clear Sapphire (Lvl 8) 40,000 VP
The Alligator:
Shining Ruby (Lvl 14) 14 % cannon damage
Smooth Rhodolite (Lvl 12) 12% boarding bonus
Shining Lapis Lazuli (Lvl 14) 70,000 HP
Smooth Azurite (Lvl 12) +24% HP repair speed
The event is over and I still have souls! What should I do now?
The Cursed and Radiant Souls will be exchanged for in-game items at the end of the event. Details will be announced shortly before the event ends.

The event starts on October 9th and runs until October 23rd.
During this time, your mission is to collect as many Cursed and Radiant Souls as you can, so that you can get your hands a great new ship design. To do this, simply sink NPCs and complete quests.
