.max is the project file of 3DS Max, this won't get you anywhere.
Just export your model as .obj.

Shameless necromancy; I don't know how I've never seen this thread before, but now I'm desperate to know what wizardry has to be performed to properly decompile/decrypt the SCN files used by the game. That, or what 3d capturer you used. o3o
