your idea of decent starter items and what others think they are are probably very different.

all *starter* items are needed for is to get you playing long enough to make or collect your own stuff. you don't need SES or ASES or high-boost rings or even great weapons or armor. low level farming is just fine even with the stuff irohan gives you.

exactly! if you are there to actually play the game, you don't need them. lack of starting items does not make a game any less playable. a game is not supposed to be easy. a game is supposed to challenge you. That's its purpose.

In my honest opinion...

The only starting item i would ever ask for on any server.. is either.
1. a 7 day monkey lv1 (only if you can buy a monkey at the pet merchant with crone)
2. a Permenant lv1 monkey (If you cannot buy it in-game)

.Give me that and i can farm EVERYTHING else without being to frustrated with having to pick up every 3 seconds

My download randomly stops on any percentage, my connection is fine, I've been downloading for a few days now but still it randomly stops like 5 to 6 times whenever I resume it says error. Then I re-download the client again. Anyone experiencing the same problem? I'm really excited to play this game but it makes me sad
