Jk60l and me r planning a new pserver.

Our root server has:
AMD Opteron 8x 2,4 GHZ
16 gb Ram
4000 GB Memory
500 Mbit/lan internet

We need some dev's who wanna help us.

The most things are done, i know how to edit the database, how to create npcs, how to work with lua, how to moddify client and so on, but if some dev wanna some work, we can create something new together. I dont like it, if someone do alle the work, i like teamworking and maybe we can learn from each other.

If you can do it all, then basically you're looking for staff to delegate work to to lighten your load. (ie: Menial tasks such as db work). Considering the pserver community you should have included this for clarification purposes. You should also include some information about your server.
IE: Rates, Cash Shop or no Cash Shop, Forums, Website, Intentions (ie: Are you just giving it a try or are you serious about keeping it up indefinitely), Are you going to maintain your server? (ie: Online @ least once per day even if its just to make sure all is going smoothly), Also, you should provide some details of skills you expect a 'dev' to know. I can say I'm a dev, but imo I'm lying & am only a GM @ best because I'm only just beginning client edits, I'm still learning some things about the db, and I can handle lua modifications. This is just a bit of what, I at least, would expect to kno before joining your team.

Rates: didnt decided yet, but we wanna take exp rates low
Cash Shop: Yes, with Spezial items.
Forum: under construction
Website: under construction, but register page is done
Itentions: serious, we wanna start a server, where u r playing more then just a week .
We are online every day, after work
Skills: yeah, lets say we r beginner, who learn fast.

Rates: haben wir noch nicht entschieden, aber wir wollen die exp rate nicht zu hoch setzen
Cash Shop: werden wir einbauen, mit speziellen items, die es sonst so nicht für den normalen user zur verfügung stehen
Website: ist in Bearbeitung

Absichten: ernste, wir wollen einen Server erstellen, bei dem man nicht nur eine Woche spielt und direkt alles hat und das spiel dann langweilig wird.
Wir (die beiden admins) sind jeden tag, nach der Arbeit online und arbeiten am Server.
Skills: Anfänger, die schnell lernen

Then you're not 'nearly done' darlin'. I already disagree because I don't agree w/ a Cash Shop unless it's like 'We'll make you level 170 for $20 - for lazy hos only'. Cash shop usage causes so much QQing, especially on a pvp server, it's unreal.

It wont be a normal Cashshop like on official.
Let me say, it'll be like the donate shop on Darkness Fight.
It's objective is only to pay the root server.

Thats my point, cash shops cause a lot of QQing, and an overflow of 'GM Y U MAKE CS SO OP FOR TO MAKE NO CS USERS SO LAME.' type emails.

jk6011!1i ^^ ähm lass es gleich bleiben.. p server sind schon wieder out.. lohnt sich kaum. Ist zwar ne nette Beschäftigung aber naja. Rappelz Seraph gibts immer noch wer unbedingt spielen will...

Das Game is halt ab 160 ausgelutscht.. egal was man da noch für items added.

Man braucht ne neue idee.. aber dafür ist das spiel zu unflexibel. Lohnen tut es auch nicht.

Ps Mit epic8 kommt ein neuer server namens cerberus der genauso lw sein wird wie die andern. N Special pvp server mit bestimmten ideen und lowrate (x5 bzw 10) wäre mal eine geniale Idee. Aber dazu fehlt es eben Rappelz an Möglichkeiten

Ich möchte ja ungern widersprechen, aber bei redemption wurde doch fast nix geändert. Paar neue NPCs bissi .lua skripting aber großartig revolutionär war da nu wirklich nix.

Nenn doch mal nen paar Beispiele was für dich nen special pvp server ist^^ ich könnte mit dir wetten, dass man zumindest teile deiner Vorstellungen definitiv in Rappelz umsetzen kann.

Spätestens mit dem Epic 8.1 GS wird man denke ich massig an custom PVP Content basteln können.

Möglichkeiten gibt es tausende Problem ist eher die Zeit^^

Naja ismoke wollte er ernsthaft durchziehen. Der einzige gute Server ist eigtl. Seraph. Wobei das halt auch nur öde x30 rates sind ohne irgendwelche gut durchdachten Events/ideen neuer Content oder ähnliches. (Kts like)

Bis jetzt ist einfach Rappelz immer noch Rappelz und wir es immer sein.

Bis r7 ist es das selbe. Dann treffen sich alle in Hori und pkn sich 1 Woche (wenn überhaupt) manche farmen dann noch paar Mrd (ich hau dann immer alles in den Altar oder verschenk es, damit die nachfolger wissen das Rappelz im Endcontent lw ist)

Rappelz ist eben nur ein Spiel was man eigtl. nur einmal durchspielen dürfte bis 150 (so wie damals zu epic 3 Zeiten)

Aber der Markt wurtde mit Tpros bombadiert und neue Todesritter (unique) nur halt mit anderen Texturen kamen auf den Markt die über 1kk schaden machen. Ja sorry aber das Spiel hat nunmal null sinn wenn ich zbs Betty in Sekunden lege und den Endboss solo mit nem r7 mage legen kann

egal wie viel pvp content (was eigtl. auch nur die Arenen sind) du da hinzufügst. Die Leute werden sich nach 1 Woche spätestens lwn. Das ist halt in anderen mmos wie wow/aion nicht so. Wobei ich die auch nicht mit Rappelz vergleiche.

Rappelz war ne gute Idee aber seeeehr schlecht umgesetzt (nur um Umsatz zu schaffen) Asiagrinder halt. (wobei questen noch lwiger ist, wenn man an wow denkt )

den server würde ich für wichtigere Dinge nutzen
