OR
Use my Backupmanager.

This is Microsoft SQL, not MySQL...

Yes but it makes characters like " to \"
in your login scrip (i have tested it) you can enter as username the symbol "
so i can manipulate your Query Select * from.....
when i enter ") GO DROP Telecaster GO -- the Telecaster DB wont exist anymore

And the Query is for PHP-Files so you can make an Admin-Pannel so you musnt log in in your Server all Time you want to make a backup -- Thats the Idea

Why do you want special chars as login/password?

ODBC connect because i hate mssql connect and so....
i think odbc is easier to use
--i have tried to use your function above, but i doesnt raplace these chars
I was able to crete an account with '-' or ' ' or '/' so i think it dont work
