Crack the processor is just like that. But, It will **** your brain up.
Note: Cracking processors are just for increasing the ability of processor to be capable to run x86's program over x64's cores.

No restrictions. The free versions of MSSQL are limited in the usage. (1GB Ram, 1 processor, max 4GB/10GB DB)

I'm not talking about the gameserver itself, but feel free to look here

Microsoft SQL Server - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Either way, there is a reason joymax uses their sharded approach, they aren't running their official servers with 3 gameservers just for the fun of it

Yes it's limited to 1GB RAM and 4 logical Cores

The problem isn't the SQL Server here.
Yeah the free version has some restrictions when it comes to RAM/CPU, but that's not the problem here.
OP is already using a P2U version(since his' is using 6GB already)

My SQL Server(not the free version) uses ~600MB when I'm running the server files

The problem here is that the GS runs out of memory. Not the SQL Server

I know about enough about the SQL Server, thank you...

And I guess Joymax split it up, because of the 4GB limit for 32-Bit programs and because it's just more efficient

Jesus...

You don't need the enterprise edition. You don't even need the BI Edition.....

Upgrading to MSSQL 2012. Ok. Upgrading to MSSQL 2012 Enterprise. NO

You won't need the features these Versions provide... Standard Edition is good enough

There's a reason these Versions are named "Enterprise" and "Business Intelligence".

It's a waste of money

If it is not then what is the problem now exactly?
After checking sql features i have just seen that standard = limited with memory, processor and enterprise = unlimited that's why i want to use it also 2012 for better performance and speed.
If you know a fix please tell me cause i tried everything already >.<

I don't care about rams since we're going to use trial version? for now so we didn't choose any of those yet so it is enterprise trial version then later we can choose

2008 standard should suffice, as long as you aren't running something like sql express

@Schickl, if he wants to use the enterprise version, what difference does it make? It's probably pirated or a datacenter license anyway

I thought of that of course, but maybe he's one of the few who buys such things.
And where should he get that license? Legally.

Theories makes sense but when it comes to SRO, practically, it's ALL different. Don't ask me how it works like that, but it just does, this is sro.
He used enterprise and now it crashes like every 12 hour like he specified to me on skype. Before with standard version it only lasted till the memory reaches the maximum. Mind telling me what happened here exactly?

EDIT: You tried enterprise, now time to get that 2012 off and use 2008. Give it a shot, who knows....
