You can check all GM logs in _SMCLog. Then you can use SMC SR_UserLog tab to see where is that item now. There you can also check that corrupted GM trade logs.
For such things you should have and Log database enabled (some disable logs for performance) this is also good for scam accounts to find who steal items from others
