BALANCE
We at Cloud MU believe game balance is very important. One of the major flaws in the MU Online private server community is this inevitable 'Pay to win' business model - which is consistently seen in the majority of private servers. This 'Pay to win' game model is the idea that players can buy FO (Full option) or god-like items and overpower others who cannot afford such items. We do not agree with this idea and have put in place steps to insure players who do not wish to donate can still play competitively. While we encourage players to use our webshop and donate for the good of the server - we also want other players to have access to these items in-game. Below are some balance changes we have made:


New Jewels add excellent and other options
With the addition of our custom weapons and sets we have also added in 7 new jewels. These unique and rare jewels are capable of adding new excellent options, sockets and luck to your items. They are obtainable in-game through the PC Point shot and are also a rare drop in high-level maps and events. These jewels give players the opportunity to create their own FO items without donating

Level 5 sockets obtainable in-game
Another change we made was the ability to obtain level 5 socket items in-game. While you will mostly see level 4 socket items dropping - you still have a chance to gain level 5 socket items from high-level maps. Sockets are also available on every item.

3 Option items obtainable in-game
You can obtain 3-option items in-game by hunting monsters in high-level maps. These items have a strong chance to drop in particular maps and events. We feel the in-game drop possibility of 3-option items combined with level 4/5 sockets as well as the new jewels give players who do not wish to donate - but are willing to work hard, a level that is competitive with players who wish to donate for FO items.

Vote reward system
The vote reward system is nothing new to the private server community - but we feel it's worth mentioning in terms of balance. We provide a generous amount of credits for voting every 12 hours which would give players the chance to obtain multiple FO items each month just for donating once a day.

Grand reset system
[I]Our grand reset system is also another way players can obtain a large quantity of credits for participating in-game. By achieving 300 resets - we acknowledge your hard work by awarding you with 50,000 credits. Your stats will be reset but you will be able to spend these credits in our online webshop.
