Coins the biggest crappy system out !
 

We all know that old servers , before new files released in 2011 , hadn't that coin system which ppl are able to obtain different items/weapons/silk items/etc.

And to say honestly it was more fun and the gameplay was so smooth and good dam* awesome . Now all servers have that system , all of them are crappy , no wonder that the servers are empty .

What you think about coin system ? It's coin system a shi* implemented in sro ? It's necessary in sro scene ? What about weeks/months of grinding to take a sun drop ? How cool it was than ? If you'll make a server you'll add coin system or you're gonna remove it ?

i personaly dont like it ..and one if the reason is that only wizzy go to temple and kill the uniques .. it kind of makes it unfair for the other chinese and str charrs

yea that's a fact and one of first reasons that makes that system sux.

Yea the coin system suck hard ballz. A normal end set is much better or a 0,0000000001 % chance for sun !

"old times". No, not really, its just the community was gathered in 1 spot.

Thats true and only Joymax or a other company which get SRO files on the legal way and start a server can bring the "old times" back.

I liked the coin system of old Salvation. Obtainable through BA and unique hunting (wizards didn't have the advantage over other build because team work was required to kill them).
I don't know about other servers, didn't really play a lot of them.

Not true. If this kids weren´t so childish and keep editing the server we´d have OLD times back. There´re old files free. So np to get an old server. With the epic log in movie and else.

Thats the problem too because everybody think if they open a 60-100 cap server than it's a old school one ... lol NO ! To keep it " old school" you have to :
- leave the pk2 100% unedited (who cares about the shity pictures with the current server name, custom names, special glows, other interface color, recolored items or w/e pff...)
- no custom stuff (more stuff, more bugs, more problems)
- no coin system (after you get ur stupid coin set you reach the max, if you farm sun with a 0,000001% rate, you are not done even after 6 weeks)
- just normal sro where you need to farm items, elixirs, gold and stones.

You can improve the gameplay with the perfect rates and bring every some weeks new cap.

But till now only ppl tried it which can't host succesfuly a server, sad story bro :(

So you say that some1 just start 80 cap old school server. Profit. I've said this over 9000 times, that there are/have been tons of "old school" servers, none of them succeeded.

On topic. Coins system is ok, but there should be enough different ways to get them. Ba, ctf, job cave, uniques, events, quests and so on.

that's what i talk about , old school meaning its pure , no edit at all and ofc no coins obtainable.

If you wait 3 years, when I finished my IT training, I`ll make the best server you´ve never seen before.

That´s a lie. Didn´t ECSRO, ZSZC and SJSRO be successfully??

The creating that kind of a server is much easier than a full overedit shit. You just need fix the empty pk2 lines because the orginal pk2 of vSRO have some empty lines etc., remove the higher lvl stuff than the current cap from media. Thats all you dont need to make any bigger edits. And than just update every some months the cap.

And the problem with the old files are that they are bugged and there is no bot for them !

I don´t want to edit something...But atm I have no time to make anything...I´ve to wait untill I´ve got my training finished. Then I can get a host, a free one from a mate etc. DDoS protection and else. The right time brings the right things. :-)
