From what I have seen around the forum, it seems that Cotobo will not be working after patch 4331. I also found on the Cotobo forum that Chocoman will neither be upgrading Cotobo anymore nor releasing its source code. I can only guess that either someone will come up with another program that can come close to Cotobo or somehow, through some super miracle, that Chocoman comes back to epvpers and help everyone including myself to continue to use Cotobo. I am sure that I am one of the "leechers" on this forum that might have been the cause for Chocoman to leave, but it is only natural for someone like me who only played conquer for about 6 months to leech because being so new to the game. I'm sure that if I continue to play conquer then I would be able to find useful things in the game which I could contribute to this forum. However, for the past three months or so I been going to school and barely played conquer at all, but I was still able to make money thanks to Cotobo. So I'm really hoping that Cotobo will be fix or another program similar in nature will be created. Yeah, just tried COTobo, and no luck, I'm trying to work on a new multiclient now, cause they fixed both the conquer.exe "english" and the GameData.dll "english" hack.

well every thing about this patch seems rather stupid to me.not only are they going to wipe out all teh bots they are going to make peopel loose game time by hacking the game once again.hacks will never stop and tq ideas will keep coming.i give it one month maybe two and all hacks will be up and running again.my one problim is i am about to get second rb.i will wait now untill i see what all happens after monday.i would not want to be stuck lvling all teh way back up by hand.

Amen! im teh leecher :D but i do appreciate what the programmers have done..they made alot easier to
lvl after i chanced server (lvled to 120 in previous server without bots :X). Anyways i hope if u make a new bot. Please dont post it on epvpers. Or any noob who has exactyl 1week experience of CO can just come and get it with out any respect or positive comments to the creator. Let only adcanced user of epvp use it or something. Which would mean that i dont get accees to em either but i dont mind cause if the boters keep on minimal I dont have to worry about peeps that just started the game and passes me after 1week.

@tombstone - I feel that some people in this forum should just create a new forum, with most of the usefull material thats on here (obviously with the owner's desression). I feel that when you are ... say about 3 months old on the forum, and the Post Moderators have checked you out, then you can release and download hacks. If such a forum was created, I would love to be a major part in it, to help refine my forum modding skills further. I am trying to get a grips with the coding thing to try and not be a leecher, but its proving unsuccessfull as I'm trying to get on with college at the moment. If you wanna chat further about it, or maybe arange it, PM me :D.

EDIT: with the forum, it wouldn't matter who you told, because the Post Moderator would check everyone. It could be a global Private Message saying what the URL of the forum is, so TQ wouldnt know. Also you would need a very stringent warning / banning policy.

If a forum exists that fits ur description then can you tell me what you consider in your eyes to be worthy member? Because I have not been a member of epvpers for too long so I don't know that is expected of "worthy" members. So please tell me and I'll try my best not to be one of the "complete idiots" on this forum.

Agreed, i was a mod on a forum for a different game and people needed a certain amount of posts per day/total posts/karma/had to be a member for 3 months/had to apply for private member. It was great ^^ but no matter how hard you try TQ will ALWAYS find the forums that provide CO hacks =\ Even if say 50 members joined and it was an invite only forum and we let the forum slowly grow =)

how long have we had COPartner and COtobo?
how long has it taken TQ to finally do some damage to disable the programs (Temporarily?)

On the forum note, I didn't mean posts. I meant if you havent posted in the first 2 months of creating an account, then it gets deleted. If it was a say 10 posts a month then everyone would post crap, and the forum would become crowded. I'd just have a verifying system. There has to be a non-automatic registering system, maybe where you fill a resume out, and the Post Mod reads it, and decides if you are genuine. This would mean a wait time, and a lardge selection of mods to verify the posts though. They can also 1st warning, 2nd, and 3rd, and ban you.

I'm a leecher as well; but you can tell the difference between some dumbass kid and someone who is an adult. Dumass kids ask the obvious dumbass questions that were already talked about 500 other times and are always asking for hacks. They are too lazy to do a little research or use the search button. The best I contribute is my ocassional suggestion, other then that I give karma and leech. I hope to one day contribute; you guys are better teachers then you know :D

Its difficult the noobs shoes too, because even if we are eager to learn, the source codes and secrets are well guarded by those who create them.

I don't blame them at all. I've been in and out of epvp for a year or so, and things have just gotten worse. I remember a time back in Eagle server, where nobody had bots or anything.. the worst thing was file editing to gate-jump, which everyone and his dog's grandmother knew how to do... ignorance was bliss.

If Proxy Aimbot is gone for good. I'd have no regrets. I think it is the worst invention that has ever come across this forum.

At the same time, my favorite bot (packet-based autoloot)is also part of Proxy. So i'll miss that..

If they manage to nix the speedhack, that'd be sweet to, but i won't bet the farm on that. It always comes back.

Anyway.. the original idea was for these hax to be in the hands of the few who made them, and those that they deemed worthy of sharing them.

The real REASON (imho) that so many god damn leechern00bs are here looking for the hacks is because everybody else has them.. if everybody else didn't have them, we'd be in the same situation. Even ground. Fair play.

I think the engineers of packet-based hacks on epvp should get together and seriously discuss this.

@howaboutno As for fixing the proxy, it will be easy. As far as I know the proxy will login, but with the changes it will most likely have errors.

The errors are the character packet (3ee) and equip packets (Some of the 0x3f1 's). That will take... oh... for a person with a decent knowledge of packets, about 30 minutes, max.
The only reason those were changed was to accompany new additions for slash slots (equip packet) and the addition of the little gem point thing (character packet). The packet changes were NOT intended to bring about the demise of COtobo and QOProxy, but they did indirectly.

I been reading this topic with intrest and I have to say, I agree with things like stop noobs getting it

Although now you're probably thinking that I only have like 6 posts, but I don't tend to have much to say really, (I'm not usually very talkative), I have however read these forums for a while mainly just to read what people have too say,I have only ever downloaded one program from here too.

But as I was saying, I agree with people saying about not letting everybody get programs, I have seen people on here before who ask a stupid question like 'where can I get the best botter to get me to 130' - which usually ends up being their first, and last post, when people help they don't thank them or acknowledge their effort, they seem to have an elergic reaction to the search tool.

So I am now beginning to post and try to understand how these programs work. So don't think I'm not making effort >_>

Myself as well.. at the same time, i'd be happy to leave them all behind, so long as the rest of n00bland didn't have access either. Easy ones like multiclient and itemtype/monster.dat I can learn myself. They don't really do much harm.
