Hey guys I am back! Jeremy here, was curious if anyone is still interested in ROHAN???? Our team at Underground now has a great developer that has invited us to use him for our development needs. You all know Dark of darkgamerz, we have teamed up together to hopefully build a server that is unlike the others. We aren't talking instant 120 and we are not talking super easy. But we are talking about a fun server with stuff to do, so wars are happening daily and events are going on often. We have a full client with working 60 slot bags, title systems and more. Bosses all the time and some edits that just make the game a lot better and more fun than ever. So what do you think? We are currently testing the waters to see if there is enough hype for a private server anymore.


If you read this post carefully you will see that no where has it said anything about a server shut down. It has said we are teaming up.... With that being said any questions can be directed to me. Because we are going to keep dark busy with edits. So if you have any questions shoot me a message.

Dark has had his own server up for a while now. Will this be the same server or will Dark be working on 2 servers?

at darkgamerz its working the 60slot bags, if is crashing for you dont mean it crashes for everyone lmao

I'm kinda interested, Quite a few people still are. There are two big issues you gotta deal with though.

Will the server be such a grindfest that Hunter Kits will be absolutely necessary to level up in a timely manner?

If Hunter Kits ARE added, how will you deal with people using "Advanced" Hunter Kits to flood the game with max stat equipment?

Well the "advanced" hk will not be available. But HKS will be used. And as of right now Dark and I are hashing out some details. But in a nutshell it will only be one server.

Dark already fixed the AHK thing if i remember.

If you ask me right now is probably the worst time to try and open a new server, Dark already opened one which apparently seems to be pretty dead and I don’t see a bright future to it considering the time he lacks to keep a constant improve about it.
On the other hand, the hype with Playwith SEA is still going on so pretty sure most pservers are pretty low population if not dead.
On the other hand, on the pserver scene Yolo seems to be doing well still and I heard they’re opening a new version “Yolo 2.0” with some new stuff from Kr iRohan. People are spread around and theres a pretty low chance you can hit success again at this stage unless you bring up somehing revolutionary which I doubt it gonna happen. Eitherway good luck and looking forward to how you guys gonna proceed.

Hi Jeremy. To be honest I think Rohan is getting a little long in the tooth. 10 years might as well be a century in the life of a game. Some are able to weather the time like WoW, but others, not so much. Rohan is not and never will be like WoW. It just never got the traction WoW did and the official game's corruption over the years did nothing but drive players away. The only people really playing at the official N.A servers are people that have dropped 10s of thousands of US$ along with 10s of thousands of hours over the years and can't justify leaving. Pservers are pretty much a dime-a-dozen and none have come to really matter anymore. Those that were marginally good came and went within a couple years. Others had a lot of promise, but I am ashamed to say never materialized. After all that the interest just is not there anymore.

Dark made a mistake for not letting everyone know about the future of his server. A new pserver is not going to change anything. Since sea was released, a good part of indo/ph community went there.. The only pserver that still has a good amount of players and is going to release a brand new server with trinity is Yolo.. You won't pull more than 20-30 players at most... facts

Just curious did I say dark was shutting down his server or anything? Have I said something to worry his players? I don't really think I did. I apologize if it came across that way. We have a ton of different opportunities at our hands and just as much as Dark is joining our team it is just as right to say we are joining his too. There seems to be confusion from his players as to what is happening and I can assure you that his server is still going and not going anywhere any time soon. With that being said, I know of the YOLO hype and if everyone wants a P2W super fast server that can be done. We can add all the korean upates and irohan skills and everything that they are saying that is coming. the real questions what do the players want? P2W madness? Or a true reflection of what rohan could be with a mix of PVE and PVP?

Yeah, it did kinda come out that way when you answered my question if Dark was gonna support 2 servers. I mean, if he is not on his server, he is on yours if there is only one server.

I was talking with Dark about it and there is not rly a way to block this.
The best way would be to leak it for everyone or delete the HK from the Game ^^

The way I see it if it came down to it. And the exp rates were high enough a hk would not bee needed.

I think this server you're planning to open can be huge given that you will make a good advertisement before opening it to gather players or to at least get their attention. But Playwith might probably stop you from doing that. So it is safe to say that this is not really the right time to open because of the RohanSEA hype.

My suggestion about the server is that, make it PVE/PVP. Have IM items, it is necessary for the survival of the server itself. Don't listen to those people who keeps on saying "Your server is pay to win" blah blah blah. Unless you have donate items. Also, if you are going to analyze, having IM as the source of income instead of donate items, IM is better for long term goal.

People who can't afford IM items must be able to farm in your server. They can sell items thru EM or via their own ways so they could get money to buy RPS. Remember that there are two types of players, farmers and no-time-to-farm-but-wants-to-get-strong players. If you observer in RohanSEA, both can survive the pay2win system by selling in game items and buying RPS etc etc. It benefits both the players and the server. I'm not saying that you must make a pay2win server but at least make it balance to attract both the farmers and cash players.

Balance the skills. Make them self buffs only. It is better as I can observe in RohanSEA. All classes can solo farm with the right build and right items. I think you can just copy the RohanSEA skills because they are quite balance, maybe needs just a little bit of modification.

If you are planning to make it a high exp rate server, remember that the drop rate must be also high. Gearing up and leveling must be proportional. Or at least don't make the leveling faster than gearing up.

Well I am definitely going to advertise and get out there. Right now I am looking for a web developer for a webpage design. After that it will be all gravy.

How about implementing step by step episode? :/ Like the max in the first month will be Pluion then step up to Edwin and so on :confused:

people will get bored too fast and jump to insta max gear indo servs :D

cant do that way, after some time people will get bored, and for solo players they will not be able to level with lower level gears, the thing is make rates not too hard also not too easy, think a way to people make bedrons after edwins, not to jump directly to glacials...

All I see are people wanting end game right away. I do like the idea of a slower server with people grinding but people don't want to grind and what not. I am down for suggestions on features that people would want or like. I always have an open ear for ideas.

Here is a fix for you. Get 2 servers one PVE open 24/7 one PVP Open once or twice a day for 1h or 2h for them to fight.

PVE Server - slow and farmble stuff.
PVP Server - Instant lvl only fights (Same character names with PVP_Name)

ITEM MALL = Sell only cosmetics or you will ruin the server selling advantage items on it.

Depending on kills done on PVP Server you recive rewards on PVE server.

Wow guys what a great and exciting idea there is no possible way that this server will only have 100 players and offer no new mechanics in an ever expanding and advancing game genre.

I just need XOR Rohan Reborn. what ever its name, just make the same copy of XOR Rohan. Not too easy got level or stupid free item from lvling quest. Just make the same copy. Good Exp Rate, good Drop Rate, good refine and forge rate. Dont give too much free item on starting like idiotic craftman weapon. Just make the crone drop from monster higher, so people can use it for their first fund for buying potion or weapon with random option from stall. Let the SES or AES drop from monster easier (ofc not too easy). I promise i'll play that kind of Rohan (Copy of XOR Rohan) and i'll spend some money to buy important item mall like growth seal, scroll buff, forging item, costume, etc. Please make sure you make it 100% like XOR Rohan. Honestly i wait that kind of Rohan Back. And if you ready to release it, please make announcement as many as possible like on face book, discord, etc.

Curently im playing playwith rohan on sea server. And for now, its the best rohan i can play. actualy i just play playwith rohan for 2 days and already spend around 10$. Unfortunately, the drop rate is too bad, and crone drop is so poor. Actualy the exp aslo litle bit to slow, but it can be solved with Hunter kit. And . . . .thats the most think i hate "Hunter Kit". it can killed society. so, better raised up the exp rate. I remember on Xor Rohan, i realy enjoy people hunting together, buy party growthseal, and all of them active on killing monster and chatting. if play with rohan raised up the exp rate, drop rate, and crone from monster, it will be best rohan i've played just like xor rohan.

the original Renaissance rohan was nice and active.
i been bored on the new renaissance rohan only 20-60 players on the weekends and during the week maybe 10-20 with each person logging 6-10 accounts. The GM's of the server stop caring about the game within the first month. i agree the rohan population is at Playwith SEA.

the ideal server to me is a Grind not as bad as global but make it so that you get cap within a week or 2. Drop rate is a big thing i dont wanna spend hours and hours farming a set. the whole self buff is BS in my opinion no one likes it that i know of.
