I've been in dekaron/2moons section for a while and, in this time, you didn't do any mistake, so you earned my vote ^^. That's a logical thing that if you are a good mod you will be a good middleman, so good luck with this theme.

Voted yes, but that is not interesting, what IS interesting are those 2 NO votes. So ppl don't be shy, if you pressed no I'm sure there is a good reason and not a lame one like you broke 100 rules and he infracted you, and got you banned and now you don't want him to be a middleman ;)

Just wondering trane. Are you looking to get anything out of being a middleman? Like say a % of the money receive, or is it just to be helpful to the community and stop all this scamming?

Voted no, Nothing personal or anything but I do not trust ANYONE to be in control of any transaction that I do. Having a middleman would stop the scamming yes, But what happens on that one day when someone just pisses the middleman off and he flips. Takes on a few transactions and bails? What ya gonna do? This is the internet you know.. SO easy to scam others it isn't funny.. if I knew him in real life I would consider it but sorry, never met ya or talked to ya.

I do hope you get to be the middleman on the site. Hell if you do then maybe this site will gain some good rep for trading and selling things. Good luck trane.

trane. is a mod of around 4 sections (correct me if im wrong). And he is kinda like a robot, so i doubt that hes ganna scam anyone. Scammers on the forum are getting banned, hes a mod+premium, so thats not really on my list of "logic things" to do.

I agree 100% with vaidas, would you spend 2 years of your life, minimum of 24.99$ and a prestige rank of a well respected moderator of not one but several sections for some pathetic 50$ worth account.

I actualy do know how he looks like, Everybody can see his picture in profile picture thread, some of you can add him on facebook, I had a pleasure to play the game with him (long time ago)

And you obviously didn't see my point here. I'm saying that you do not become a moderator just like that, it takes time and hard workin, I'm active like crazy, I report like crazy, I follow the rules more then 70% ppl here, when flamed I do not flame back. And I'm doing so ever since I joined, and will continue to do so untill and after I become a mod. I apllied almoust 2 months ago. I will not be accepted for a long time, untill I do I will still have to work hard, be active alot + I bought premium membership that costed me 25$. Do you think after all that, when I become a moderator that I will scamm ppl? This is one of the best mmo forums on internet and works quite fast, scammers are banned instantly. Now, If I as a mod would scam, I would be able to do 1-2 and then I would be caught, demoted, banned, all the hard work, the money invested....all gone for just some accs? You do not have to know him personally to think that he wont scam, you just need to assume that if he maded to the moderator possition on 4 sections on a 1.6 milion member forum that he has enugh brains to not blow it all away.

One more thing tho, this thread is not about should there be a middleman, it's should TRANE be the middleman, I personaly have been a middleman in 3 transactions in 2009.

But let me write here something I want to, in few points.

* You think I'm just another person sitting behind my keyboard.. Well, it's a true on one side, but on the other side, you could at least know who I'm, I posted my personal photo in User Pictures thread in Main forum, I have a profile on facebook where I got more of my personal photos & my real name ( Link to my fb profile is just under my stats,etc. , together with icq and MSN )

* Seriously, if administration would require it, I could even send them a scan of my passport/indentity card to proof who I'm by the photo located there, and by the details as my real name/birth date.

* You think the users' repuration is mainly used to exploit ? No... At least not everytime, seriously, do you think I planned all of this just to become a middleman and to scam some 2moons/Dekaron accounts which I can make myself ?

To be honest, first time I came on elitepvpers, I didn't even plan to become a guardian, but after some time I was offered to be a guardian of 2moons/Dekaron forums as I was reporting bad posts often. Later on ( At the beginning of the year 2009 ) I applied for a moderator position, and I got it, I became a moderator of 2moons/Dekaron forums and with incoming time I was added to different forums/sections as I was doing my job well ( In my opinion ), otherwise I wouldn't be assigned to other forums/sections... I'm moderating on elitepvpers for over a year now ( I had some pauses caused by some important things ), and I like doing it more & more. This community gave me something when I was just a newbie here and so I decided to give it something in return... More than it gave to me.

* You think there wouldn't enough security for both buyers and sellers, when I, someone who ''just posts a lot and moderates these forums''. Interesting opinion, but who could you trust then? What would I have to do to gain your trust ? It doesn't mean I think I gained enough trust by ''posting a lot and moderating''. I didn't plan to become a middleman before, just few weeks, maybe months earlier. That I was middleman only in one trade doesn't mean anything, right, but there were money involved in that trade, and it went sucessfully. And I was an unofficial middleman that time ( I still am ) but I didn't scam any of those traders, why would I do so?

* Do you seriously think I would do that all I already mentioned + something intern, for about 1 & half a year, gain enough e*gold to buy Premium for 1 year ( I bought it just few weeks ago ), to scam an acc or something which is worth a few pounds?

I would lost everything I gained : Trust, moderator position on the coolest internet community I have ever seen, 1 year of premium membership, a lot of time I spent on this forum, and could spend it for something else, and my ''nickname'', as I use this nickname or at least an avatar with my nickname included there, everywhere I'm, in multiplayer games, on forums,... I use this nickname for over 4 years now and it's the only name I want to use, it's my favorite name and ''loosing'' it would really be sad for me. And I assure you, people would spread it all over the internet, that trane is a scammer. Seriously I wouldn't do such thing to loose all of this, it's not worth it. I would rather spend some weeks/some bucks to buy what I want to.

We/I'm not just an individual with no more accountability than a thanless unpaid moderator position on a forum, I/We are moderators of one of the biggests and most popular forums ever, it's true, it's unpaid job, but that's not what I/we care about. As for me, I didn't even think about doing a moderator job on this forum while being paid for it. I do this job here to provide our users as good experience as I can, to make this forum better, to give it something in return ( As I already mentioned ) and to keep at least some forum categories/sections clear, etc. - Easily said : I try to do the best for elitepvpers.

Ok, I don't wanna write some essays here, so just the last thing,

I didn't make this poll on request of anyone, I made it just for my personal information - To see if I would be accepted by people as 2moons/Dekaron Middleman.

And the main reason why I want to become 2moons/Dekaron Middleman is to provide our users better experience and safety when trading.

And it's only up to those who want to trade anything in 2moons/Dekaron Trading section, if they would use a Middleman or not, nobody would be forced to use me as a middleman, maximally I would offer them this service.

@nobody special it is possible that trane wouldent transfer the money, but take the item/account, wait for one of the traiders to pay, and give the other one the item/account.
Once again ur agument is invalid, couse trane is applying as a middleman, couse he wants to help the forum members in a safer faster trade, trane is a mod of around 4 sections, he dedicates alot of his free time helping the community and gets only our trust, respect and friendship in return, mods dont get pay'ed for doing this. We are older members then you and we know trane better then you.

Appying as a middleman, trane knows the responsibility that goes on him. Middlemen help you save time and make a trade saffer (if hes well known). You only see the dark side of things, so please stay quiet. This is not a discussion. If u dont trust the middleman system, dont use it.
